Aurora led Asher deeper into the forest until they reached the thick cluster of bamboo-like plants she discovered the previous day.
The towering stalks swayed gently beneath the morning breeze, their strange broad leaves rustling overhead while sunlight filtered through the dense greenery in shifting patterns. Compared to the normal trees surrounding them, these plants looked oddly sturdy and straight, each stalk thick enough that Aurora could barely wrap both hands around one completely.
The moment she pointed toward them, Asher immediately understood what she wanted.
Without wasting a single second, the wolf alpha stepped forward and extended his sharp claws. The sound that followed made Aurora's eyes widen slightly.
Slice.
The thick stalk fell cleanly. Then another. And another.
