Morning arrived sooner than Aurora expected.
Sunlight slowly crept into Asher's cave, chasing away the last traces of darkness while the Wolf Tribe woke unusually early.
However, unlike the previous days, the atmosphere wasn't simply lively... it was festive. Laughter echoed from one cave to another, warriors could be seen carrying freshly cut branches and flowers toward the central clearing, while females hurried back and forth with woven decorations in their hands. Everywhere Aurora looked, people were smiling.
Today was the day.
Tonight, beneath the full moon, she and Asher would complete the Wolf Tribe's bonding ceremony.
After finishing breakfast together with Asher and Elixir, she stretched lazily before stepping outside, fully intending to continue yesterday's lessons. She had barely taken a dozen steps away from the cave before several females spotted her.
"Lady Chief!"
"There you are!"
