The final four days slipped away far more quickly than Aurora had expected.
From sunrise until well after sunset, the entire Wolf Tribe had worked with a determination she had never seen before. The four harvesting teams returned day after day carrying mountains of golden wheat bundled neatly with bark rope. The drying grounds became a sea of golden stalks spread beneath the warm autumn sun, and every time one batch finished drying, another immediately replaced it.
The longhouse had become the center of learning, where visiting tribes continued practicing pottery, stitching, weaving, preserving food, and cooking even without Aurora standing beside them.
Hunter and Mira spent every evening practicing fire-making until both could finally produce sparks consistently, while others eagerly gathered around to watch and imitate them. The knowledge Aurora had brought no longer belonged to her alone.
