The next eight days became the busiest stretch of Aurora's stay in the Snow Lion Tribe.
After the arrival of the snow cows, she knew there was no point in merely leaving the tribe with a few animals and a patch of newly planted vegetables. If she wanted the changes to survive after her departure, every person responsible for them needed to understand not only what to do, but why they were doing it.
So as usual, she divided the tribe into several groups and established a daily routine that quickly became the new rhythm of the settlement.
At sunrise, one group checked the vegetable garden, another cared for the cattle, a third gathered suitable grasses and other feed, while several females worked on food preparation and preservation.
Aurora moved between all of them throughout the day, correcting mistakes, answering questions, demonstrating techniques, and occasionally doing the work herself whenever something was easier to understand by watching rather than listening.
