In the hotel, Sefan was trembling, her hands shaking uncontrollably after hearing Victoria speak the names of Rayn and Clara.
"Ah, see? Your face says something else," Victoria observed coolly. "I know everything. Did you kill my Clara and my brother's son, Rayn Sliver?" Victoria demanded.
Sefan's eyes were wide with shock, but her lips remained sealed.
"I know you're not going to tell anything. But I still wonder why you killed them when the whole property wasn't in their hands at the time. Or did you kill them after you realized there was no use for them?" Victoria asked, her voice dangerously soft.
Victoria stood up, took her bag, and pulled out a document. She tore it into pieces right in front of Sefan.
"Our deal is ended! Especially after my husband died, your brother, Damien," Victoria announced, sealing her freedom. "I will wait for a maximum of three days. You should get ready to give me all my shares. That's the only thing you have now, because you don't own anything, mistr*ss."
Victoria leaned in close. "Tell your son the truth as fast as you can. You both are non-family members of our family," she warned, and walked out.
Victoria got into the car where Arlo was already waiting. "Arlo, shall we go?" Victoria said, and they drove away.
Meanwhile, at Ethan's house, Ethan was totally zoned out, deep in thought about Victoria.
Suddenly, Lucas held Ethan's waist and rested his head on Ethan's shoulder. "I don't know why I feel that my mom is doing something suspicious behind me, especially after Victoria came," Lucas confessed, worried.
"Oh, look. Tomorrow we are going on the campaign. Can we at least remove all our worries, go there with a free mind, and enjoy every moment with Eli while we are working?" Ethan suggested, forcing a smile.
"Yeah, why not," Lucas agreed, turning his head to kiss Ethan's neck. "Ahhh, Eli is sleeping. Can we also sleep here? Before going to sleep..." Lucas trailed off suggestively, pulling Ethan closer.
"Ah, ah, excuse me!" Ethan pushed him away playfully. "Until we come back from the campaign, you shouldn't even try to touch me. Got it?"
Lucas pouted, nodding sadly.
Ethan walked away toward the Eli room. Just as he was about to get in, he turned back, ran to Lucas, gave him a quick, deep kiss, and then instantly ran away to the inside room.
Lucas froze, then laughed triumphantly. He quickly got into his spot on the couch, smiling.
Ethan lay in bed beside Eli sleeping, thinking about Victoria. Is she the one? Clara said her name, but I don't know if she is the one. He quickly grabbed his phone and tried to call Arlo, but she didn't pick up. He tried again. Oh, why isn't Aunt picking up the call? Is she okay? Ethan worried silently.
Victoria and Arlo drove to Arlo's secret office in the back thier city, which was near her old family home.
"How did your old house get burned?" Victoria asked Arlo as they settled in.
"I was the one who burned that house to make people believe that Ethan and Eli were dead, or that they went far away," Arlo confessed.
"Ah, my brother's house is also near here," Victoria mused. "Where did Clara die? As per Sefan's lie, both she and Rayn died in a car accident near the city. But for Ethan, it was an old broken house where Sefan and Damien got inside, as he heard that last scream—it was Clara!" Arlo explained, correcting Sefan's official story.
"It's too difficult to get evidence against Sefan!" Victoria sighed. "But for the properties... Clara called me before she delivered the baby. She told me everything about the property and even called me right before she died. She said what to do to secure the estate. After that, I didn't get any call from her until my marriage deal, which Sefan and Damien made, expired so i should have to be here. Then you called me and said Clara was dead, so I ran back here."
Victoria's eyes hardened with determination. "I just need to find where those documents are! If I get them, I'll call our family lawyer, Santiago, to issue a court law of guardian estate to me, as the documents are already signed by Clara and Rayn!"
It was already morning. Ethan and Eli got ready for the campaign. Lucas came out of the shower.
Cury called Ethan. "The bus is already ready! We are waiting for you!"
"You should all go in the bus. Me and Lucas, with Eli, should be there in the car," Ethan instructed. "Oh, Eli is growing up, but he still has an allergic reaction on the bus. It's okay. Come soon. We should meet in the mountain resort!" Cury ended the call.
Everyone was ready. Ethan, Lucas, and Eli got into the car and headed straight for the mountain region
Sefan hadn't slept the whole night. Her eyes were dark with worry and fury, focused on Victoria's three-day deadline. She suddenly opened her phone and made a call.
"Sojuva! I'll give you the address of the camp. Go there, and no matter what, kidnap the baby! The one I showed you yesterday. You should have him in a matter of two days!" Sefan ordered, her voice cold and lethal.
