Chapter 5 - 5

Android Eighteen, whose real name is Lazuli, is a character from the Japanese manga Dragon Ball and its related works. Originally a beautiful, ordinary Earth woman, she was later transformed into an artificial human by Dr. Gero together with her twin brother, Android 17.

Android 18 has blonde hair, blue eyes, a tall figure, and the cold beauty of an ice queen.

Despite being an artificial human, she shares very normal human traits she likes dressing up, she loves money, and she has a gentle, nature-loving side.

Although she is an android, her body is a modified human one, so she can bear children.

Roy did not expect her to be the one manifested.

As soon as Android 18 appeared, Roy also received new information through his Nen ability.

When a life form from a manga world is manifested through Nen, the ability automatically implants a compatible worldview and subconscious directives into the materialized character, such as:

"He is the most important person in my life.""He is my master.""I cannot harm him."

This ensures the user's personal safety.

Truly amazing—my manga-manifestation Nen ability!

Of course, there were limitations. This subconscious influence worked on most beings… but what if the character was someone unreasonable?

For example, Frieza someone who would kill even his own family if they stood in his way.

Or monsters like Cell and Majin Buu, who kill purely for amusement.

Fat Buu might be negotiable, but Kid Buu…Yeah, no.

Roy shook his head and focused on the present.

He looked at the overwhelmingly beautiful woman in front of him, momentarily speechless.

He wasn't sure whether Android 18's implanted subconscious had fully taken effect yet.

And this was the Hunter x Hunter world. Combat power here was nowhere near that of Dragon Ball characters. What if 18's power didn't manifest completely?

Thinking about it, Roy's eyes sharpened.

With his current nen capacity and mental power, he couldn't possibly manifest a full-power version of Android 18. She would definitely be a weakened version.

If he wanted her full original strength, there was only one solution…

Restrictions and Vows.

Rules carved into the heart—follow them absolutely, and the stricter they are, the greater the power gained.

Restrictions and vows were a double-edged sword. Handle them poorly, and they would destroy the user.

But… looking at Android 18 standing before him, Roy's resolve solidified.

"I want to maximize Android 18's original strength.I set the following rules:"

"Dragon Ball will become the most famous and influential manga this world has ever seen!"

"Dragon Ball will change the entire landscape of the manga industry!"

"Dragon Ball will influence two entire generations!"

"Dragon Ball will become the highest-selling manga in the world!"

"Dragon Ball will become a timeless masterpiece—an uncrowned king in the hearts of all manga fans!"

"I will draw three nationally celebrated manga after Dragon Ball!"

"I will finish Dragon Ball properly without dragging the plot for profit, and when it ends, manga fans will cry and beg me to continue!"

"These seven rules will happen. If even one fails, I am willing to pay the corresponding price!"

Roy did not hesitate for even a second.

Come on it's Dragon Ball!It already reshaped manga history in Roy's original world. Here in the comparatively primitive manga scene of the Hunter x Hunter world, its rise was inevitable.

He had no doubt these conditions would be fulfilled.

The moment he finished declaring the seven rules, a dazzling white light erupted from Android 18.

Then Roy felt an overwhelming, terrifying aura explode from her body.

...

In Dry Mountain, a frail old man on a rocking chair watching TV opened his eyes slightly.

At the Hunter Association headquarters, the pervy old chairman sipping tea and staring at a secretary's chest suddenly raised his head.

Far across the Six Continents, in a pitch-black land

"Hm?"

A man whose silhouette faintly resembled Ging Freecss and Gon stopped moving.

...

The aura appeared rapidly and vanished just as fast.

Other than Roy, and a handful of top-tier experts in the world, no one noticed anything.

Android 18's dazed expression slowly cleared.

Her cold eyes swept the room… and then, when they landed on Roy watching her nervously, they softened.

Seeing that change, Roy exhaled deeply.

The eyes were the window to the soul.

Seeing her emotional shift, Roy knew it worked.

He didn't yet know how much of her power had manifested.

But judging from that momentary aura…Sweeping the Six Continents shouldn't be a problem.

Android 18 walked toward him with light, graceful steps.

The soft tapping of her boots echoed faintly, and soon she stood right in front of him.

Roy could even smell her faint, fresh fragrance.

Looking at her breathtaking face up close, Roy involuntarily lost focus for a moment.

Android 18 watched his reaction, and the corner of her lips lifted just slightly.

"…I saw a beautiful ring in the mall two days ago. Buy it for me."

Her voice was cool, but there was a subtle, almost hidden touch of affection.

"ring…?" Roy blinked, then understood.

For Android 18, the most important people in her life were three:

—Twin brother #17—Daughter Marron—And her husband, Krillin.

Given her tone, Roy clearly wasn't placed in the "child" role.

And knowing 18's personality, she would never ask her brother to buy her a gem.

Gemstones were an unmistakable symbol of romance.

So it was obvious

Roy had been assigned Krillin's role.

"…Husband, huh?" Roy thought, reading the faint expectation in her eyes.

"I don't have much money right now, but once the comic's manuscript payment arrives, I'll take you to the mall myself."

He might be a lifelong single man, but he wasn't clueless about romance.A man had to be decisive at the right moment.

Sure enough, 18's eyes softened further.

"Hm."

She answered gently, then looked around, frowning slightly.

"The environment here is awful. Poor lighting, no ventilation."

"The furniture is ancient. Even if it's not luxurious, you should at least have a proper sofa."

"And the space is tiny. You can barely fit two people."

Roy: "…"

"Ahem… this is a studio dorm the magazine arranged. It's… comfortable enough."

He touched his empty pockets helplessly.

If the magazine didn't provide meals, he might literally starve.

He had spent the past several days drawing Dragon Ball nonstop and had no time to earn extra money.

"That won't do," 18 said firmly. "We need a better home with more space."

"Didn't you just deliver a manga to your boss? Have him get you a better place."

Ask old Luke?

He just gave Roy the gold-plate position. Running to demand a nicer apartment now felt… shameless.

"If we have children in the future, can you bear to let them live in a place like this?"

Roy: "...Fine! I'll go talk to Mr. Luke right now!"

This was a matter of his lifelong future. He couldn't be sloppy.
