"Would this have anything to do with the girl Kelvin brought in a few days ago?" My mother asked, my head snapped around her direction and she had that strange look on her face. She only wore that expression when she was trying to get information out of someone.


"Nothing much, all I know is that the girl is a rogue and she wandered into our territory and can't even remember where she is from." She replied.


"Well that means you basically know everything. Why are you here, mother? You obviously have something to say so just let it out already." I said to her, she sighed and got up from the sofa and walked towards me. She came and stood in front of me, she was a good foot shorter than me so she had to crane her neck upwards to meet my gray eyes with her similarly coloured ones. I took after my mother in so many things.
