Thoren looked at the fallen creatures and could not help but crease his brow.
Since he had begun moving toward the Purple Arachnes Broodmother's hive, the number of enemies he encountered had steadily increased.
More importantly, their behavior had changed.
It was almost as if they already knew he was coming.
They attacked him relentlessly, without hesitation or fear.
There was no caution in their movements.
There was no attempt to retreat.
They charged at him as if their lives held no value.
This unusual behavior made him suspicious.
"Is it possible they have realized that I killed many of their kin?" he said aloud.
