Thoren stood frozen for a brief moment, unable to believe his eyes. His eyes widened drastically while disbelief flooded his face.
'How is this possible?' He screamed inwardly.
He had watched her get sliced into pieces. He had watched her suffer countless horrifying tortures before she finally died.
More importantly, her corpse had been devoured completely by the Bleeding Desert.
So how could she possibly appear here?
Even though disbelief filled his mind, Thoren reacted swiftly. Without hesitation, he leapt out through the window.

His body crashed heavily onto the ground, leaving deep footprints in the stone street below. Nearby humans and Mantis Beastmen turned toward him with startled expressions.
However, Thoren was far too focused to care about their reactions. He immediately charged after her.
Sensing Thoren behind her, the new Cressida increased her pace without turning around.
"Out of my way!"
