Rushing through the narrow path among the massive rocks, three people draped in black robes moved forward with hurried steps.
Their robes fluttered behind them as they pushed themselves to maintain their pace, their breathing slightly heavier after the frantic escape.
Frequently, they looked over their shoulders as if they were being pursued.
"Do you think those stones would stop them?" the thin man among them asked, glancing nervously over his shoulder once again.
"Of course. Do you think it is easy to destroy those stones?" the second man responded, his voice filled with confidence as he tried to reassure himself.
Listening to their conversation, the only woman among them finally spoke.
"Why do you care whether they can pass through the stones or not?"
She did not even bother looking behind her.
"They have already served their purpose, and whether they live or die has nothing to do with us."
