Chapter 35 - Chapter 35

"By the way—what's your name?"

Luffy finally blinked and realized he didn't even know who he was talking to.

"You tried to recruit her into your pirate crew without even knowing her name?!" Sanji exploded. "How recklessly big is your heart, huh?!"

"My name is Kiana."

"And I'm Luffy! The man who'll become the Pirate King!"

"Yeah, sure. You'll definitely become Pirate King. Good luck."

I brushed him off casually and pulled out my phone again. I never said I would join his crew—at best, I said maybe. Whether I join or not depends entirely on my mood. I'm not signing any contracts yet.

Alright. It's time. Shield me, RNGesus. After thinking it over for a long while, I finally made my decision—Precision Supply first. What I needed right now… was a powerful weapon.

But precise supply doesn't guarantee a four-star weapon. It could be stigmata. All I could do was pray.

Please… don't let it be too dark. Anything but those useless starting stigmata. Some single stigmata aren't bad, sure—but unless you've got a full three-piece set, they're nowhere near as valuable as weapons. Weapons are what change the battlefield.

Either way… I had no choice but to take the gamble.

I directly clicked on Precision Supply.

Ten cards purchased.Ten consecutive draws.

And I didn't dare look.

I just closed my eyes and tapped the screen rapidly, letting the cards reveal themselves without me seeing.

"What are you doing, Kiana-chan?" Sanji asked, staring at how excited I looked.

"I'm checking if my luck is solid… or pitch-black."

"What? Uh… I think you're pretty fair, Kiana-chan. Really… I like it a lot."

Sanji blushed as he said it, quietly cursing himself for being so pathetic. It wasn't like he'd never seen women before. So why did this girl make his heart beat weirdly…?

Not that I heard a single word of it. My entire attention was on the phone.

The haul from the ten-pull:

Several stigmata upgrade materials.

Four Gold Homu coins. (One Homu coin can be exchanged for a large stash of gold coins—currently up to [—].)

Two starter three-star stigmata—Already owned.Perfect candidates for donation to the trash can.

I nearly screamed.

And finally… the guaranteed drop.

Every ten pulls must include one high-level stigmata or weapon.

🔶 Four-Star Weapon: Taidao Raikiri (160 ATK / Rate: —)Weapon Skill – Spirit Blade Body Protection: Summon a spirit-blade barrier for all allies (including clones), increasing DEF by 50.00% and dealing X lightning damage every [—] seconds to nearby enemies.Thunderbird Passive: When attacked, X% chance to reduce incoming damage. (X increases with level.)

"…It's Raikiri."

My heart soared.

I actually… pulled Shadow-Dance's graduation weapon. Just from the skill description alone, it's a perfect match for Shadow-Dance armor. In my previous life, this sword was universally acknowledged as her best option. Just imagine—three clones plus the user, all using Spirit Blade Body Protection—quadruple skill damage. Can you imagine if other armors could use it?

But even if not… I got exactly what I needed.

Kiana Kaslana… is very satisfied.

If I had to complain about anything… well… it's not the Moonlight Armor's graduation weapon, Super Electromagnetic Hand Cannon.

I once dropped 20,000 yen in my past life to get it. Starved myself so badly I ended up hospitalized that month. But… I didn't regret it. Because I had it.

With a grin, I slipped my phone back into my chest.

SPLURT!

Sanji and Gin immediately sprayed blood from their noses.Only Luffy remained oddly calm.

"Hey—are you guys okay? Why did your noses suddenly explode?!"

"It's fine… I'm fine…" Sanji wiped his nose with a handkerchief. He handed another to Gin, who had barely regained his strength after eating. Being hit with a shock like that dropped him flat again.

I ignored them and summoned the weapon I just pulled—Raikiri.

A soft whoomph of blue light filled the air.

A sleek, fluorescent light-blue blade materialized in my hand. High-tech design. Smooth metal guard. The grip felt perfect between my fingers. This… was nothing like the starting swords.

"Eh?! Kiana—how'd you do that?!" Luffy blurted out.

"Oh, that? It's my Devil Fruit ability. I'm a Devil Fruit user."

"Eh?! So you're a capable person too?!"

Luffy's surprise made sense—there were hardly any Devil Fruit users in the East Blue. Even Sanji and Gin looked stunned.

Watching their reactions… I couldn't help but sigh inwardly. I hadn't even gone to sea yet—and already, just being a 'capable person' caused this much shock. Later, in the second half of the Grand Line—the 'New World'—there were so many Devil Fruit users that nobody even flinched anymore.

But the reason I revealed my ability now…Was to test a theory.

"Hey, Luffy. Are we… comrades?"

"Of course! We're companions!"

Then… Spirit Blade Body Protection—activate.

Swish!

Three glowing light-blue blades appeared—rotating around me and Luffy, crackling with faint static. Anyone nearby would feel a gentle numbness spreading through their skin.

"This is amazing! So cool!" Luffy yelled, face lighting up as he spun around to look at the swords circling him.

I couldn't help but laugh. Luffy's reactions were too entertaining.

But what really made me happy—was the system response. The Friend Judgment of Raikiri… actually recognized people from the One Piece world.

Which meant…

Stigmata and weapon effects that target "allies"… might apply to One Piece characters too.

And if that's true—

I instantly thought of something big.

Danzhutao's stigmata set.

If that works in this world too…Then this journey… just became very interesting.
