Chapter 68 - The Final Fall of the Ultra Seven Brothers

Tota Heavenly King Li Jing stood tall upon the clouds, his head held high. His expression was solemn and dignified, eyes blazing like torches as he stared intently at the battlefield below, where smoke choked the air and killing cries shook the heavens. Clouds coiled around his body, his robes fluttering in the wind, further emphasizing his awe-inspiring authority. As Erlang Manifestation True Lord Yang Jian furiously slew the First Generation Ultraman, and Nezha angrily killed Ultraman Jack, the tide of the battlefield gradually tilted toward the Heavenly Court like a surging wave.

Seeing this, a surge of heroic fervor rose within Li Jing. He raised the Exquisite Pagoda high in his hand, chanting under his breath in a low, powerful voice, like an incantation from ancient times. As he recited, the pagoda erupted in brilliant light, dazzling to behold. Streams of golden radiance howled forth like sharp swords, carrying boundless pressure as they shot toward the Ultramen.

Ultraman Seven moved with agile grace, dodging left and right through the gaps in the light, swift as the wind. His face was etched with resolve and defiance. Sweat slid down his cheeks, yet his eyes never left those deadly beams of light.

"Hmph, don't even think about hitting me!" he thought coldly.

At the same time, Ultraman Seven crossed his arms before his chest. A green Emerium Ray burst forth from his eyes, shooting straight toward the light emitted by the Exquisite Pagoda.

"Li Jing, your so-called treasure is nothing special!" he shouted, his voice full of provocation and unwillingness to yield.

Li Jing frowned slightly upon hearing this, a flicker of anger flashing through his eyes.

"Arrogant fool—watch your tongue!" he roared. His movements quickened, and the light of the Exquisite Pagoda grew even more intense.

Ultraman Seven constantly shifted positions—leaping high one moment, rolling swiftly the next—dodging the golden beams. Every evasion was perilously close, yet each time he escaped at the very last instant.

"Li Jing, your attacks can't defeat me!" Ultraman Seven shouted again, increasing the output of his Emerium Ray, trying to break through the blockade of the pagoda's light.

Li Jing snorted coldly. "Then let's see about that!"

He swung both hands forcefully, and even more golden light poured down like a torrential rain.

The pressure on Ultraman Seven multiplied, yet he clenched his teeth and endured.

"I can't lose. I must break through this!" he thought desperately.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, fighting remained just as fierce. Heavenly soldiers and generals were fired up with morale, their battle cries deafening. The Ultramen, too, refused to retreat, resisting with all their might.

Li Jing focused entirely on controlling the Exquisite Pagoda. Veins bulged on his forehead, his face flushed from exertion. Ultraman Seven's eyes were wide, burning with determination.

At that moment, Ultraman Seven suddenly spotted a tiny gap in the golden light's assault. Without hesitation, he lunged forward, firing his Emerium Ray straight at the Exquisite Pagoda.

Li Jing was startled and hurriedly reinforced the pagoda's defense.

Boom!

The two forces collided with a thunderous explosion. The violent energy shock caused the surrounding air to detonate instantly, forming a massive shockwave.

Ultraman Seven was blasted back several steps, dropping to one knee as he gasped for breath. Li Jing staggered slightly as well, the light of the Exquisite Pagoda dimming somewhat.

"It's not over yet!" Ultraman Seven gritted his teeth and stood up again, preparing to launch another round of attacks.

Li Jing's gaze sharpened as he readjusted himself, ready to meet Ultraman Seven's challenge.

At this moment, the battlefield grew ever more tense—every second filled with uncertainty and change.

"It's not over yet!" Ultraman Seven repeated through clenched teeth as he rose once more, his eyes unshakably firm. Energy light flickered faintly around him, as if gathering his final strength.

Li Jing's expression grew heavier. This Ultraman is far tougher than expected. I cannot underestimate him, he thought.

Ultraman Seven took a deep breath and pushed off hard with his legs, shooting forward like an arrow loosed from a bow. His hands fired Emerium Rays continuously, weaving together into a green net of light that enveloped Li Jing.

Unhurried, Li Jing spun the Exquisite Pagoda rapidly in his hand. Layers of golden light spread out, forming a solid shield that blocked Ultraman Seven's attack.

"Seven, with skills like that, you'll never break my defense!" Li Jing shouted.

Ultraman Seven did not respond. His gaze grew even more focused as his speed increased again. In an instant, he circled behind Li Jing, firing beams from multiple directions.

Li Jing was startled and turned quickly, the pagoda's light flaring outward to dissolve the beams one by one.

At the same time, battles elsewhere on the field reached a boiling point.

After killing the First Generation Ultraman, Erlang Shen Yang Jian did not stop. Wielding his three-pointed, double-edged blade, he charged straight into the Ultraman ranks like a tiger among sheep, forcing Ultramen to scatter wherever he went.

After defeating Ultraman Jack, Nezha stepped on his Wind Fire Wheels, holding the Universe Ring and Red Armillary Sash as he darted across the battlefield, supporting the Heavenly Court's forces.

The Heavenly soldiers and generals fought with soaring morale. Some wielded long spears, engaging the Ultramen in close combat, spear tips flashing with cold light and whistling fiercely with every thrust. Others cast spells, summoning lightning and flames to bombard the Ultraman positions.

The Ultramen refused to be outdone. Ultraman Ace clasped his hands together and fired the Metalium Ray, driving back wave after wave of Heavenly soldiers. Ultraman Taro burned with blazing flames, each punch carrying scorching power that knocked back approaching generals.

Seeing that he could not quickly defeat Li Jing, Ultraman Seven grew increasingly anxious.

"Li Jing, today is your downfall!" he roared. The energy light around him suddenly surged, his entire body like a blazing fireball.

Li Jing felt a chill in his heart. "Seven, don't be so arrogant!" He gripped the Exquisite Pagoda tightly and activated his full divine power.

Ultraman Seven flashed forward, appearing directly in front of Li Jing and firing a powerful Emerium Ray at point-blank range. Li Jing had no time to dodge and could only block with the pagoda.

Boom!

A violent explosion erupted, dispersing the surrounding clouds. Both were thrown back by the force.

Ultraman Seven stabilized himself midair, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, yet his gaze remained unwavering. Li Jing, however, looked pale, the light of the Exquisite Pagoda much weaker than before.

"Again!" Ultraman Seven wiped the blood from his lips and charged once more.

Li Jing clenched his teeth and met him head-on.

Just as the two fought to a standstill, the battlefield situation changed once again.

Reinforcements from the Heavenly Court arrived. A group of gold-armored Heavenly generals joined the fight. Well-trained and perfectly coordinated, they instantly tore a breach in the Ultraman defense.

The Ultramen were forced onto the defensive, gradually surrounded by Heavenly forces.

Ultraman Seven was frantic. We can't lose like this! His attacks grew even more ferocious.

Li Jing seized the moment. As Ultraman Seven revealed an opening, a beam of golden light struck his shoulder.

"Ah!" Ultraman Seven screamed, losing balance and plummeting downward.

Just before he hit the ground, Ultraman Ace rushed in and caught him.

"Seven, how are you?" Ace asked anxiously.

"I can still fight!" Ultraman Seven struggled to stand.

By now, the battlefield was complete chaos. Shouts, explosions, and energy clashes overlapped in a deafening cacophony.

Standing on the clouds, Li Jing looked down upon the battlefield.

"Ultramen, today is your end!" he shouted.

The Ultramen exchanged glances.

"Let's go all out!" they roared together, charging once more at the Heavenly Court's forces.

...............

Before this, when Li Jing seized the opening and struck Ultraman Seven, his eyes sharpened with resolve. The Exquisite Pagoda in his hand flared brilliantly, its light dazzling as if to banish all darkness. A golden beam shot forth like lightning, impossibly fast, striking Ultraman Seven squarely in the shoulder.

"Ah!" Ultraman Seven screamed—a cry so agonized it seemed to pierce the soul. Pain twisted his features, veins bulging on his forehead as cold sweat poured down. His body lost balance instantly, falling like a kite with its string cut.

At the critical moment, Ultraman Ace streaked in like a blue bolt of lightning. Eyes filled with urgency and concern, he spread his arms and caught Ultraman Seven without hesitation.

The battlefield was already a scene of utter chaos—battle cries, explosions, and energy collisions forming a doomsday symphony. Dust filled the sky, blotting out everything, as if the world itself had sunk into confusion.

The Ultramen looked at one another, seeing resolve and determination in each other's eyes.

"Let's fight!" they shouted in unison, charging the Heavenly Court once more with firm steps and unyielding resolve.

Yet after lying dormant inside Ultraman Seven's body for a brief moment, that golden light suddenly became violently unstable. His body began to tremble uncontrollably. His eyes widened in fear and agony, filled with reluctance and attachment to life.

"This… what's happening?" Ultraman Seven said with difficulty, his voice shaking with despair.

Ultraman Ace held him tightly.

"Seven, hang on!" Ace shouted hoarsely.

But it was already too late.

The golden light inside Ultraman Seven erupted violently, bursting forth with overwhelming energy. In an instant, his body was engulfed in blinding light, too intense to look at. Under that immense power, his body shattered, turning into countless particles of light that dissipated into the air.

"No—!" Ultraman Ace let out a grief-stricken roar that echoed across the battlefield, filled with boundless sorrow and rage.

The other Ultramen, witnessing this scene, were overwhelmed with fury and grief.

"Seven!" Ultraman Taro's eyes turned red, tears welling up though he refused to let them fall. His fists clenched so tightly his nails bit into his palms.

"Heavenly Court bastards—I'll make you pay in blood!" Ultraman Leo growled through clenched teeth, his energy blazing like raging flames.

"For Seven—revenge!" Ultraman Taro roared.

On the Heavenly Court's side, Li Jing felt a slight tremor in his heart as he saw Ultraman Seven die.

"This… was not my intention," he murmured, a flicker of pity crossing his face before hard resolve returned. The Exquisite Pagoda in his hand did not stop, continuing to unleash its light upon the Ultramen.

Erlang Shen Yang Jian frowned, his gaze cold.

"War is cruel. There is no room for mercy."

He swung his blade even more fiercely.

Nezha, riding his Wind Fire Wheels, showed a trace of reluctance, but his fighting will soon overtook it as he charged back into battle.

The battlefield grew even more frenzied.

The Ultramen fought with grief-fueled fury. Ultraman Ace fired Metalium Rays relentlessly, cutting down Heavenly soldiers wherever the beams passed. Hatred burned in his eyes.

Ultraman Taro's flames burned brighter than ever. Each punch carried boundless rage.

"You despicable bastards!" he roared.

Ultraman Leo moved like a phantom through the enemy ranks, his attacks swift and unrelenting.

The Heavenly Court's forces refused to yield. They held tight formations, coordinating to withstand the Ultramen's counterattacks.

Li Jing continued driving the Exquisite Pagoda, golden light pouring down like a storm. Sweat covered his brow, his face pale, yet his eyes remained resolute.

The Four Great Heavenly Kings unleashed their divine powers. The Eastern King's pipa strings rang urgently, turning into blade-like sound waves. The Southern King's sword danced in countless overlapping shadows. The Western King's red dragon roared, spewing raging flames. The Northern King's umbrella spun like a whirlwind, deflecting attacks.

The battle reached a deadlock. Every moment claimed lives. Every instant tested survival.

"Kill them! Wipe out the Ultramen!" the Heavenly soldiers roared.

"For justice! For peace!" the Ultramen shouted back.

Blood soaked the battlefield. Corpses piled like mountains. Yet neither side retreated.

At this moment, of the six Ultramen who came to the Elia Continent, only Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Taro, and Ultraman Leo remained.

The once-proud Ultra Seven Brothers were now reduced to three lonely, tragic figures.

Smoke filled the battlefield. The setting sun bled red across the sky, illuminating their exhausted yet resolute faces.

Ultraman Ace's energy timer flashed anxiously, like a countdown to death.

"No matter what, we fight to the end," he vowed silently.

Ultraman Taro's flames flickered unsteadily, sweat dripping onto scorched ground and hissing into steam.

Ultraman Leo clenched his fists, veins bulging.

"We won't fall so easily!" he growled.

Was it truly the end of the Ultra Seven Brothers?

That heartbreaking thought passed through every observer's mind.

Yet the hundred thousand Heavenly soldiers cared not at all. Slaying them was the Jade Emperor's decree—for the safety and authority of the Eastern Heavenly Court.

Thus, the Four Great Heavenly Kings, the Twenty-Eight Constellations, the Nine Luminaries, the Twelve Earthly Branches, the Five Directions' Jiedi, the Four Duty Officials, the Eastern and Western Star Lords, the Southern and Northern Deities, the Five Sacred Mountains and Four Rivers, and countless star deities surged forward like a tide, unleashing a merciless siege upon Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Taro, and Ultraman Leo!

The Four Great Heavenly Kings struck first…
