An unknown Island on the Grand Line
Chapter 4
The sun set and split the sky into hundreds of different colours, variants of blue, green and purple. The waves rode the wind as they approached and hit the Thousand Sunny. The Thousand Sunny, in all it's glory, sat utop the gentle waves that rode beneath it. The lion face, the successor of the lamb, the Merry Go, sat and waited for the Straw Hat crew to board it. It was the Thousand Sunny's duty to carry on the will of the Merry Go, to inherit the spirit of the lamb to the lion.
"Hey, Luffy!", called Nami, wearing nothing but a swimsuit. This, obviously, caught the attention of drooling Sanji and Pervert Brooke, who kept on asking her to turn around a little bit more and to see places where the sun doesn't shine. Naturally, they both got destroyed, cooked and absolutely fried but I have to give credit where credit's due - they tried. Fallen soldiers from a perverted battle, sure, but fallen soldiers nonetheless.
Luffy turned around and yelled back a response. "Are you going to visit us again?", said a little girl, no older than eight, tugging on Luffy's shirt. "Will you?", she prodded.
Luffy grinned at her, and ruffled her hair. "Of course we will!! I just want my meat to be here the next time we visit Machell Peak!"
The little girl nodded fervently, happiness exploding in her little chest. "Mm! We'll have the pee that the green guy drinks as well!"
Zoro, who had been calmly trying to sleep on the Thousan Sunny while sipping his booze spit it out suddenly, annoyed and triggered.
Zoro, growling: "For the last time, this isn't piss!!"
Girl: Oh..okay 😁
Luffy laughs, tripping on a twig and falling over. "Calm down, Zoro.", he says laughing, calming down a little. "Well, grandma, girl, I'm about to set sail!!"
The sun hit the sail, the pride and joy, the Jolly Roger of the Straw Hat crew in a last beam of light as it said goodbye to the world for the next twelve hours. The birds chirped and flew as the crows cawed and fled. The last reflections of light hit the surface of the sea as a friendly Neptunian dove out of the water majestically before diving right back in to seek refuge from the dangers the night brought.
The old grandma grinned at the boy who was going to become the King of the Pirates - as he said in his own words - and slapped him on the shoulder.
"Go on, boy.", she said, smiling with crooked teeth that has started to yellow. But her eyes still conveyed the bright future ahead for the Straw Hat boy right in front of her - and the world.
"The New Age is dawning upon us.", she says, taking out a lighter and a cigarette. "And, as I heard from you before, you said it was called - what? The 'New World' or something of that sort, Straw Boy?"
Luffy tips his Straw Hat lower, a shadow illuminating his face. He grins as he replies,"Yeah. And trust me, grandma..by the end of the revolution..I will be the King.."
The sun finally dips below the horizon, casting the beginning of the shadow that is called night.
"Of the.."
The grandma smiles as she lights up a cigarette and puts it into her mouth. "Luffy!", Nami calls once again while the two injured perverts lie on the floor of the Thousand Sunny, their minds already back to perverted thoughts.
Brooke: Her panties..
Sanji: Her body..
Nami, taking out her climate baton, eyes deadly: One more word out of you two and Thunder will be the next thing that strikes you.
Chopper, looking from the wrong side: AHHHH SHE'S SO SCARY HELP ME ZORO
Zoro: CHOPPER GET OFF OF ME WHAT ARE YOU DOING
"..the King of the Pirates!!"
The little girl smiles in awe. The old grandma smokes her cigarette. And the ambitious young pirate, the man who claims to be the future King of the Pirates, sets sail, sitting on the successor of the lamb, grinning into the sunset.
"Go on, then, boy.", she says, lowering ber cigarette. Smoke leaves the tip of it as she stares at the majestic Thousand Sunny, the last embers of sunlight hitting the ship, illuminating it as if it were the most important thing in the world.
"Go on then, boy, and become the King of the Pirates!!"
