It was a rare day when Ren was out for an extended period, and Mariabelle woke up early. Since the succubus girl's body could survive without food, on days when she might not return by noon, she would leave saying, "I don't need lunch." They prepared a simple lunch (it was relatively easy since Iris could control the heat if the hearth fire hadn't been completely extinguished) and gathered around the dining table missing one person. Mariabelle nodded calmly at Furi's question.
"Let me see. Ren-san is quite skilled. And what's more, she gets better with each passing day."
"I knew it...!"
Furi couldn't help but jump in, realizing that Ren was indeed skillful.
"F-Furi-san. We shouldn't talk about things like that too much."
"It's fine, we're not speaking ill of her. Iris-chan, it's not like this doesn't concern you, right?"
"That's true, but..."

To think Mei's mother had done that and this.

But she got to hear good stories...

It seemed Ren had some fun stories of her own. Her clothes and hair weren't messy, and she didn't smell strange, so the chance of her cheating was zero. Mei seemed slightly unsatisfied, but Furi decided that Ren's story was much more wholesome and continued to listen to her.
