Suddenly, Lavayla stood, grabbing Mirek's hand as she turned toward him.
"Come on! Let's go check out our new land… or is it our future dwelling?" she laughed.
Mirek looked slightly caught off guard by her sudden burst of energy, but seeing her so cheerful, he could not help the faint smile that appeared on his face.
"…Alright," he said. "Let's go."
They stepped away from the bench together, Lavayla still carrying Vai against her shoulder as they walked further into the territory.
The farther they went, the more Lavayla found herself completely entranced by the view around her.
The land stretched endlessly before them like several massive fields woven together. Tall grass rolled softly beneath the wind, trees scattered naturally across the territory, while distant water shimmered faintly beneath the sunlight.
It was enormous.
Truly enormous.
Lavayla slowed slightly, staring around in disbelief.
"This is all ours?"
Mirek nodded once beside her.
"Yes. It should be."
