Leaving my Core, I gritted my teeth and was enraged. Lucius just stared at me with wonder on his face.
Acupoints? Body Strengthening Ki is sealed? What in the fuck is my master on about? What if I die? That sick fuck!
Easing up the rage and anxiety rising up within me, I took a deep breath before looking at Lucius who had ignored my turmoil and decided to analyze the Door.
"Any findings?"
"Ah, you done with your crisis?"
He replied as I asked him the first question. Heaving a sigh, I just shrugged and probably because he thought it was for the best, he decided not to dig deep and continued analyzing the surrounding.
"This door might need to be opened with something, so I think we cannot open this as we are right now, therefore...."
He glanced at me with a smile then jerked his head behind him, behind him was the passage that we saw when we arrived at this place. We felt that place was dangerous, so we decided to not go deeper there but since we ended up on a dead end with this large immovable door...we should go the other way now. There are are a total of 5 passages in this place, the large stone door ahead and the other unknown four passages by the sides. Me and Lucius just decided to go towards the edge right passage, where he was jerking his head on.
Having an idea what he was thinking, I smiled.
"Sure...."
My master might have sealed my body strengthening ki, it doesn't mean that I cannot use Ki entirely. And I know that guy, he wouldn't do things for no reason.....
Facing the path ahead of us, I turned to look at Lucius before we nodded to each other. I took the first step, before an arrow soon then shot ahead of us...with my swift movement, I was able to dodge the Arrow. So as Lucius.
"I think there are traps ahead...."
Lucius uttered in which I agreed on. I felt tense at the unknown dangers lurking deep inside.
Me and Lucius then decided to go back to the entrance of the passage where we came from as we decide to strategize.
"So, it is filled with traps...what should we do, now? We have here an immovable door and a trap filled passage then other unknown shits."
Lucius asked with impatience in his tone, he clicked his tongue as he looked around. I just stood there, scanning the surrounding and also humming in my deep thought.
Then while I was looking around, I spotted a stone tablet by the large door, it was covered in dust and is camouflaged to blend into the wall so we did not spot it earlier, but.....now that I looked carefully, I spotted it.
Calling Lucius to look at the tablet too, I dusted it and read through the contents.
[ THOSE WHO RELY SOLELY ON THEIR EYES, WILL BE DEAD.
THOSE WITH NO STRENGTH SHALL CRUMBLE.
THOSE WHO ARE SLOW SHALL BE LEFT BEHIND.
THOSE WHO ARE WEAK SHALL BE CRUSHED.

Reading those contents, Me and Lucius went into a deep thought as we arrived at a conclusion.
"This place seems to be a trial chamber, to test our capabilities"
"Thanks for stating the obvious"
I scoffed at him for stating the obvious whereas Lucius just rolled his eyes and looked ahead of us.
Then his eyes also landed on the other paths.
There are 5 paths in total.
Infront of us, There is the Large Stone Door. By our Right, there is the passage filled with traps. Then the other unknown two by the left of the stone door and the last one is beside the trap filled passage.
Analyzing those words, me and Lucius started to brainstorm.
"Basing on the words of the tablet, The Trap Filled Passage might have been the trial of Perception. It is dark and traps are hidden everywhere."
I recount my analysis, while the other guy hummed in deep thought. Then after a moment, he then nodded at my analysis and looked at the other passages.
"Then the others are unknown for now.....so I guess we will be heading to the Perception passage huh?"
Hearing those words from Lucius' mouth, I nodded as I prepared to enter the perception passage with him. This will surely be a long journey....
And I bet Lucius is also thinking the same.

Once the duo has entered the dark passage, just like what happened earlier...an arrow shot out ahead of them as they were able to dodge it just like earlier.
Since the place was dark, both of them were having a hard time seeing or walking. Even if Roanoke tried to light up the place with flesh eater, The Flames weren't enough to light everything. It was as though there was nothing to begin with, just the vast expanse of darkness.
A spear soon shot out from the wall, feeling the sense of danger like something was itching, Roanoke was able to dodge it by a hair's breadth as it penetrated Lucius' right shoulder instead which caused for him to scream in pain.
Concerned about Lucius, Roanoke tried to ask Lucius if he was okay but he was unable to when a strong pain struck his left shoulder too, from the back. When he realized it, a Spear also pierced him.
Both of them screamed in pain as they ran back to the lobby of passages, just like what they did earlier.
When they came back, they found themselves covered in blood as both of them were having a hard time catching their breaths. Just from those wounds alone, they could tell that had they went deeper, they would most likely die.
"Shitfuck. That came so suddenly..."
"I agree, I almost fucking died."
Both of them complained as they patched up their wounds with their hand to prevent blood from leaking out and risk blood loss.
Taking his shirt off, Roanoke tore a piece of it and then tied it around his shoulder. Lucius also did the same as he tore a fabric of his already tattered clothing and wrapped it around his wound to prevent blood loss.
"Well, now we know that this place is really risky and could potentially kill us"
Lucius sighed while Roanoke was just wrapping his wounds and was thinking about what happened earlier.
"Yeah....Not being able to see is truly a hard thing."
Roanoke replied while he was recounting what he just experienced earlier. Then after a moment of silence between the two of them, Roanoke then told Lucius what happened, when he dodged the first spear.
"So like, you felt something itch in a part of your body and had a premonition that something is going to hit it?"
"Yes. I also felt the presence of something and was able to react on time"
In a lotus position, Roanoke told Lucius about the itch as the other guy just hummed and analyzed his words. Then after another moment of silence, Lucius then smiled.
"I guess we can use that for training then"
"Training?"
"Yeah, we are going to train here before we challenge it again. Safe training to hone our senses"
Lucius suggested while Roanoke was in deep thought. Thinking about his suggestion, then smiled after a moment of thinking.
"Sure. I just thought of a good training method and...I think we might stay in this cave for a very long while"
"That is fine with me"
Roanoke smiled at Lucius while thinking about the sinister training that he had just thought of, while the other guy also smiled....Anticipating the light of strength given to him. He wanted to grow stronger, and he is going to do it in this trial chambers.
