Liam:
I couldn't sleep. I was tossing and turning. Finally I decided to go to the hospital. Chris looked at me.
"Liam? Can you tell me what you're doing here? At night?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. I went into the office and sat down in a chair. Chris has been my friend for years. I could have told him something else.
"You know me as a person who doesn't care about anything, but now. I can't stop asking Chris about her. About this whole situation with James. I witnessed her leaving their house and having nowhere to go,"
"And why should you care? It's her business, Liam. Since when have you been bothered by a woman? Since when? I don't recognize you. You were cursing her this morning for what she did and suddenly you're worried about her?,"

,,Well, she obviously has guts,," he said sarcastically. Emma burst into the office. I looked at her.
,,How many.. How many times have I told you to knock? A million times? Do you know how much I hate that.. Or should I fire you?,," I screamed out loud. She looked at me and turned pale. She wasn't expecting me here.
"Sorry, Director.. I didn't know you were here," she muttered in a weak voice and lowered her head.
"Liam.. You're exaggerating. It's no one's fault that you're angry, especially not Emma. She was obviously looking for me, right?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. I'm angry? Who said that?
"They brought a girl here.. She's 20 years old. Both her hands are burned. She also has a burn on her neck, but that's already healed.. She's conscious. They found her lying in the park. Her name is Daisy Fly," she said and I stood up.
"That's her. Where's Emma?" I shouted loudly

,,She's my son Josh's ex-girlfriend. Bring the results to my office," I said and went to the office. I took a sip of coffee and looked out the window.
,,It seems to have affected you quite a bit Liam. Why? You never cared about what happened to the patients," Chris said and looked at me.
,,So young and look what happened to her.. I've always cared about everything. But I feel like my son James is responsible for this. Don't look for something in it that isn't there Chris but I'm not so cold that this doesn't affect me,"
,,Are you going to tell me what she said to you? Why do you think James is behind this?,," he asked me and raised an eyebrow.
,,She showed me her neck. As you can see, it's burned and she told me that my son James did it to her and a few hours after she told me that, suddenly both her hands are burned? I don't know if he would be capable of that and I don't really know what to think about all this but I believe he's not that kind of idiot,"
,,I don't recognize you.. Really Liam. You always didn't care about anything. You didn't look at women. You were focused on your work.. And suddenly you're talking to me about some woman,"
,,Stop it! I don't like anything like that. I just want to know if James is behind this," I said, to which Chris laughed.
,,Oh well.. Who are you trying to fool? Me? Your best friend who's known you for years? So why did you want to keep her with you? Just like that?,," I said and Josh came to the office and gave me the results.
,,She has a very severe concussion.. We bandaged her head, we treated her hands but there's nothing more we can do. She should wake up. There will be severe scars on her hands and she'll have to go to the hospital. Her pulse is normal.. We gave her medicine, she should be fine from a medical point of view.. But the question is how she will react to those burnt hands,"
,,I'll talk to her," I said, to which Chris grinned.
,,Sorry Liam.. But do you really want to talk to her? You wanted to help her and she refused your help. So now she's going to send you somewhere.. I can already see her scolding you. But I'd like to see how you talk to her. I feel like you've fallen in love," he said and laughed
,,He didn't fall in love! How many times do I have to tell you Chris? I didn't fall in love with her! So kindly take those words back
I've given up on love a long time ago and I certainly wouldn't fall in love with a woman who is half my age and James' ex-girlfriend," I shouted loudly
"That girl is not an adult Liam. She was on the streets. It needs to be reported to the authorities and if her parents gave her up, she'll go to a children's home until she comes of age," Josh said and walked away.
"You should contact your parents.. I don't want to talk to you about it. I'm sure you know what to do but.. If they don't take her, she'll go to a children's home, even if it's just for a few months," Chris said. I sighed and picked up my phone. I dialed Mark Fly's number. I'm very curious to see what he'll say.
