Inside the viewing chamber above the Awakening Hall, nobles and powerhouses from every corner of the Human Domain observed with sharp attention as Arthur placed his hand upon the Awakening Stone.
The King slowly leaned toward Duke Alistra Crestban, voice low.
"Where is Valari? Shouldn't she witness her son's awakening?"
Alistra did not take his eyes off Arthur.
"A paragon-grade rift opened in Vormir City," he said calmly. "She went to suppress it. Do not worry—I am here for him."
The King nodded. His gaze, however, lingered on Arthur.
This boy… he will surely awaken something remarkable.
Below, Arthur's hand rested steadily on the stone.
Nothing happened.
One second.Two.Five.
Then—
Everyone realized something was terribly wrong.
The heirs throughout the hall were motionless.Frozen mid-breath.Mid-blink.Mid-step.
Everyone—except Aldric.
Even Princess Anastasia remained locked in place, eyes wide but unable to move.
A wave of disbelief rolled through the viewing chamber.
Duke Alistra's lips pulled into a small, proud smile.
"Space has been locked," he murmured. "And time… has stopped inside the hall."
Even among peak powers, this level of distortion was terrifying.
Then—
The Awakening Stone ignited.
==========================[AFFINITY AWAKENED] — Space • Time
Description:Space bends to your will.Time kneels in reverence.Dual elements envied even by those marked by fate.
Gasps erupted around the chamber.
"Space and time—together?!""Even the higher realms rarely see this!""Is this child really human?"
Before anyone recovered, the stone displayed the next lines.
==========================[TALENT AWAKENED] — Chrono–Spatial WeaverRank: SS
Description:You weave the threads of time and space, altering moments and bending distances.
Effects:• Spatial Shift — Instantly teleport short distances.• Self-Rewind (5 seconds) — Undo injuries, mistakes, or actions from the past five seconds.• Chrono Prediction — Predict the next moment through temporal residue.•
The hall broke into frantic whispers.
"Time AND space… impossible!""He's a monster!""This surpasses half the royal bloodlines!"
The King chuckled softly, unable to hide his amazement.
"In terms of raw talent… this boy might surpass Aden."
Duke Alistra nodded slowly.
I expected something related to the Crestban lineage… but this…Even his father would have been proud.
But before the viewing chamber could settle—
A sharp voice pierced the hall.
"Why isn't he opening his eyes?"
All attention snapped to Arthur.
He still stood frozen, eyes shut… yet mana began pouring out of him—thick, suffocating, shaking the air itself.
A vortex of purple and crimson energy spiraled around his body, twisting space, distorting reality.
"Is he awakening… a physique?" someone whispered in fear.
"No," another replied quickly."Physiques appear only when the talent reaches SS+ rank. This should be impossible!"
But the distortion only grew worse.
Arthur's body lifted off the ground.
Time cracked around him like shattered glass.Space warped as if folding inward.Reality rippled as though the world itself struggled to hold him.
A cyclone of purplish-red mana engulfed him.Dense. Heavy. Overwhelming.
Many of the young heirs staggered backward, terror filling their faces.
Princess Anastasia stared with trembling eyes, worry etched deeply into them.
Aldric clenched his fists—his system notifications flashing nonstop, flooding his vision.
And at the heart of the chaos—
Arthur was gone.
Not physically—his body remained floating in the air—
But his consciousness was no longer there.
While the hall drowned in panic…
Arthur drifted calmly in an unknown dimension, reading an awakening screen that defied every law of reality.
