Chapter 117 - 117. Infirmary

When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying in the infirmary on a soft mattress. My vision was blurry at first, but after blinking a few times, everything came into focus.

Sarah was sitting beside the bed, scrolling through her phone. I looked around the room, searching for Rose.

"Sarah…?" I called out weakly as I slowly sat up, adjusting myself on the bed.

"What happened? Why am I here?" I asked, my voice low and rough.

"What happened? Seriously… You tell me what happened?" Sarah replied, putting her phone down and standing up as she heard me. She crossed her arms, her expression a mix of concern and annoyance as she looked at me.

"I..." My words got stuck in my throat. She was too upset to listen to anything right now.

"What were you thinking, fighting with Mike?" Sarah glared at me, her eyes sharp and filled with frustration.

"You didn't wake up… you… you know how worried I was… how Rose felt…" Her eyes welled up with tears, and a single bead rolled down her cheek.

"Hey, S-Sarah… why are you cryi—" Before I could finish, she suddenly threw herself at me, wrapping her arms tightly around my neck in a warm, desperate hug.

"You werent... opening... your eyes..." She started crying against my shoulder, her hot tears soaking through my shirt.

This was new. I had never seen Sarah cry like this before. As the top student and idol of the school, always smart, dependable, and carrying herself with pride. She usually hid behind her childish teasing and confident demeanor around me. Seeing her break down like this, her body trembling against mine, her soft breasts pressing warmly against my chest through her uniform, made something twist painfully in my heart.

"Sarah, stop crying," I said softly, wrapping my arms around her in return. Her big, soft breasts pressed warmly against my chest through her uniform, the heat of her body making my heart beat faster.

She pulled back after a long minute, her face a mess with tear-streaked cheeks and flushed skin.

"Stop looking at me…" she whispered, her voice hitching as she wiped her cheeks with the back of her hand, clearly embarrassed.

I quickly turned my head away to give her some space.

"I'm sorry… I made you worried," I said, keeping my head down.

"Just… don't tell anyone about this," she said with a cute pout, her eyes still a little watery.

I explained everything to her. I told her about the lewd photos that were sent to me last night from an unknown number and how I completely lost my cool when I saw Mike.

"Still… you should've talked to me first," Sarah said, her voice soft but clearly disappointed as she looked at me with worried eyes.

"You just made a fool of yourself. Fighting him even when you know he can easily beat you?" she continued, holding her forehead and shaking her head in disappointment, her expression a mix of worry and frustration.

"I didn't know what to do…" I said quietly, looking down.

"Where is Rose…? Why isn't she here?" I asked Sarah, my voice filled with worry as I noticed her flinch slightly at the question. My mind was already racing with bad thoughts after everything that had happened last night.

"She was here half an hour ago," Sarah told me, her voice a bit hesitant as she looked away for a moment, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her uniform skirt.

"Where is she now?" I asked, my heart beating faster. She should've been with me here. It was not like her to leave me alone after something like this.

"She's at the baseball ground," Sarah replied, her tone careful as she glanced at me, her cheeks still slightly flushed from crying earlier.

"Baseball ground…?" I repeated, a bad feeling settling deep in my stomach like a heavy stone.

"Yeah… I should've told you earlier. I called everyone in the morning to appoint a new vice president," Sarah added, trying to sound casual but failing to hide the slight nervousness in her voice.

"What? But Rose is Vice President and what's she doing at baseball ground?" I asked, my voice rising with confusion and suspicion as I sat up straighter on the bed, my heart starting to race again.

"She's volunteering for being manager of the baseball team," Sarah replied calmly, though her eyes watched me carefully.

"She's not leaving the student council, it's just temporary. She will be manager for only some time," Sarah continued, her tone gentle but firm, trying to keep me from panicking as she leaned closer.

"Why would she do that? It must be Mike, I'm sure it's definitely Mike," I said, my fists clenching at my sides as anger and fear mixed inside me, the memory of those photos flashing in my mind again.

"Don't just panic again," Sarah said softly, her voice steady and reassuring as she pressed her palm firmly against my chest, her warm touch trying to calm me down while her eyes stayed locked on mine with genuine concern.

"I'm going to meet Rose, now," I said, trying to stand up from the bed, but Sarah quickly pushed me back down with her palm on my chest, her body leaning over me.

"Stop, I won't let you go. I won't let you do something reckless again," she said firmly, her voice gaining a slightly dominant edge as she kept me pinned against the mattress, her face close enough that I could feel her warm breath on my skin.

"Why are you so obsessed with Rose?" Sarah asked, her tone shifting to something more vulnerable and slightly jealous as she looked down at me, her hand still pressing against my chest.

"You are asking why? Of course I love her, that's why. That's the reason," I said, my voice firm even though guilt was eating me inside.

"I know…" Sarah's voice came out tiny this time, like she already knew the answer but felt helpless about it, her eyes lowering slightly as she bit her lower lip.

"What do I do then…?" I asked, my tone defeated as I looked at her, feeling completely lost.

"Just rest for now," Sarah said gently, her hand still resting on my chest as she tried to calm me down.

"And besides that, I'm also here for you~" she added with a wink, her smile turning playful and teasing as she leaned closer, her soft breasts brushing against my arm.

"Not again… Don't try to seduce me again," I said, trying to push her back, but she quickly grabbed my hand and placed my palm firmly on her soft, full breast, her nipple hardening under my touch through her uniform.

"Why? Don't tell me you didn't like that last time," she whispered teasingly, her other hand making a shameless stroking gesture in the air as she looked at me with mischievous, hungry eyes.
