{ SHAOYIN'S BACKSTORY TWO}
He woke up with a small start and rose to find himself already back at Moon Top Garden, in his cave and covered with a blanket.
Shaoyin was terrified.
The tiny cackle and heat from a nearby fire caught his attention. He turned to look and stared in awe as a mysterious small but old mirror built a fire for him in his cave.
The mirror had a very odd dark frame around it and it had this subtle glow of the moon around it. The mirror appeared to have been brutally cracked on all sides by something and the boy watched in awe as it used its magic to conjure up more fire to warm him up.
''Oh, you're awake?''
Shaoyin's heart dropped in fear as the mysterious floating mirror turned to him with a voice that was like dark honey and feminine. He pulled himself quickly out of the strange blanket and backed up against the nearest wall in fear.
His lips trembling as he stared at the strange thing in paranoia.
''M–m—monster…''
