the sound of bolts unscrewing was concerning but Pa goe put no attention to it. instead, he shifted all his energy to a leg, standing up just to crumble back down all together
the entity he saw really did a number on him
he slowly reached out to open the door but the door was already unscrewed and collapsed down,
"oops didn't see you there bae" Ha Eun said, a cigarette bobbed on his mouth. Pa goe frowned, out of everyone he thought would aid him, ha eun was last on his list, ha eun is one of his teammates who specialized in long ranged combats: joon ha eun, 28
ha eun looked at Pa goe, his face full of sadistic glee, as he squated down, measuring Pa goes height with his hand playfully, mocking Pa goe in his current state, standing up and kicked some dust to him.
"fucking help me dipshit!" pa goe screamed, clearly in pain
Ha euns face dropped to an annoyed look "why should i?" he snarled, eyes twitched in anger. "Tell me why I shouldn't just grab the broken door and bash it against your head? Give me a good reason why I should listen to you when we know who's at a severe disadvantage right now" his now annoyed face slowly twisted into a psychopathic glee as he exhaled a smoke at Pa goes face, chucking as he watched Pa goe coughed
"grow up and take a cig, you'll need the tolerance for it sooner or later" he said before spitting the cig to the floor and stomping on it to put out the small ignited weed, ha eun turned around and glanced at Pa goe before walking off
"wai-!" Pa goes pleas falls on deaf ears, he sighed watching the man slowly disappearing out of his sight, he slowly stood up and kicked the cig away, extremely annoyed and dragged himself out of the bathroom and into the living room, which took him some time to get there
he was then greeted by the sight of his team members which there were only 4 including him, engaging in small conversations,
"took you long enough pretty boy" Ha Eun teased, sitting on an armchair, crossing his legs. beside him was ha neul who was also sitting like a boss but at least she's respectable, ha neul is the teams close range fighter and support mage, which is impressive since barely anyone holds two titles at the same time
and lastly, sitting across ha eun was cheon sa, still as warm as ever, Pa goe shuffled and slumped into a remaining armchair, waiting for their designated "meeting" his gaze slowly wander around the room
"the population of monsters has been increasing a lot lately, they will soon past our borders" Ha Eun starts explining, pulling out a map and pointing at areas that had weaker defense points. "I'm sure yall know what's next" he glanced around for any objections
after a good ten seconds of silence, ha eun packs up his things, and announced that the meeting at over
Yes that is literally it, that is their designated meeting, sounds boring? but that's literally it
Pa goe didn't complain tho, it was straightforward and simple so he didn't care
when the the living room was cleared out, Pa goe continued his day like how it should be, just living and counting the days like counting sheep, slow but will past quickly with patience
but after each day past a growing sense of unease grew within him, as if the mission will go south, as if there was something waiting for them there, something much evil for a human eye to process
but he stupidly figured if the system didn't warn him, he should be fine
but oh boy will that be the worst decision he'll ever make
