(a banquet?) Pa goe thought to himself. he had expected the previous soul of this incarnation would still be in school but to think he was old enough to join an annual banquet

he stood up, dusting himself off and got dress, and head out the door. He might not know what to do but he knows how to do, or that's what he thought to himself

He awkwardly walked around the town, with no idea in mind. He decides to go to this apparent local training ground. Which is just an outdoor park surrounded by trees, his eyes was met with a guy around his age, and upon looking at the boy, Pa goes eyes widen "pa goe! rich to see you here" cheon smiled widely
"cheon sa heyy" he smiled back, waving him off, his eyes trailed off to the guy beside cheon sa, a shy looking guy hugging his staff, unable to look at Pa goe
"this is Kang woo" cheon sa started, throwing his arm over Kang woos shoulder, pulling him close "he's shy" cheon sa said, fluterring his eye lashes as if he just got a new toy
"Kang woo, this is Pa goe, he's a mage like you!" cheon sa continued, pointing at Pa goe like a proud father in his son's graduation
"you're being to much~" Pa goe said softly, chuckling at cheon sa, he then turned to kang woo "nice to meet you" Pa goe reached out his hand at Kang woo, took a few seconds when Kang woo finally reluctantly shook hands his Pa goe
"see, I knew makes can get along well with each other" cheon sa proudly, puffing up his chest like a proud bird
"that's kinda racist" Pa goe replied, his expression a mix of disgust and confusion, his hand still clamp tightly with Kang woos, an evidence of their previous handshake
"so what are yall doing here anyway" Pa goe asked, letting go Kang woos hand and crossed his arms
"I decided to test Kang woos mana strength since he's so insecure and all" cheon sa said, presenting kang woo like it's a grand show,
"cmon kang woo, show Pa goe what you got!" cheon sa announced, making kang woo flinch abit
slowly, kang woo raised his staff and use his telekinesis to lift a big rock, cheon sa's eyes lit up with an amazed look
Pa goe stood next to cheon sa, his eyebrows frowned in confusion, (how could one have so much energy and boldness) was what he thought to himself, cheon sa was basically a replica of a main character in a kids show, like ash from Pokémon. and from the thought alone made Pa goe smile
whatever the awkward cheerfulness was, it made Kang woo a bit more confident about himself, his face lit up a bit as he continued to hugged his staff shyly
"so how did you think Pa goe?....." kang woo finally spoke up, his voice was small and shy
and honestly, it was the most unimpressive thing he ever saw but for his confidence and cheon sa's sake, "yes, it's really impressive" was what he answered back
Watching kang woos face lit up more made Pa goes heart softened, "see I knew Pa goe would be impressed!" cheon sa, patting kang woos shoulder
it was a good awkward silence when suddenly cheon thought about something, before pulling Pa goe and kang woo to a big warehouse that technically counts as the training ground.
inside there was tons of people, tons of fighters sparing each other to see who's the strongest
"is this not illegal?" Pa goe said, his eyebrows arched into a frown
"nope, it isnt" cheon sa said, though his confidence wore down, as if he wasn't sure himself
Kang woo flinched at just the sight of people punching each other like wild boars, and honestly it made Pa goe feel sick too
Suddenly a man around his 40s approached them, "what are you doing in these area, interested in joining?" the man asked, then the man proceed to look and Pa goe and kang woo, squinting his eyes at them
"well aren't ya such mages? look at those soft hands" the man said, grabbing Pa goes hands and examines them like it's a delicate specimen
"maybe you have a specific place for mages?..." Pa goe asked, his voice trailing down.
"nope!" the man said proudly. "it's a pure mix and match!!"
"then wouldn't that put the longer ranged combating like us mages on a big disadvantage?..." Pa goe asked again, his voice trailing lower more
"yup!" the man said loudly and confidently again,
"let's just go Pa goe!" cheon sa exclaimed, tugging kang woos and Pa goes hand
as the trio ran to anyway, people looked at them, mainly with pity as if they were a lost child tho they were full grown adults fresh out of college,
cheon sa continued his childish behavior, he watched in an expression of surprised, watching people battle and fought, it really amazed him truly

after minutes of helpless wandering, they found a free opponent and his free gang, he looked like a close combating so cheon sa decided to request for a battle
they accepted his request but they didn't want to battle cheon sa though
they had eyes on Pa goe
