He shrugged at her.
" I think?"
She took a step back her face full of terror. A wet slopping sound of something falling came breaking the awkward silence.
They both turned towards the sound. It was unfortunately from his third dead body that had been disemboweled. The inside had now full fallen out just at the perfect moment.
Just perfect, Shawn thought turning to look at the school beauty. He could see she was on the verge of fainting now.
She looked at the body then at him then back to the body her eyes widening more.
He watched her, tilting his head to the side.
" You okay?" He asked forgetting he was the nightmare in this scenario.
Her answer was a muffled scream as one of her hands covered her mouth she moved back until she was standing outside the nest pressed against the opposite wall.
She pointed a shaky finger towards the body then to him then back at the body her eyes wild.
" You, that body... The insides.. looks the same.."
He looked at his shredded body.
" Oh." He walked towards it and tried to push the intestines back into the body through the gash.
"Yeah, that was not supposed to be outside. But honestly?same." He said agreeing with her that it looked ugly. He hoped hiding it would calm her down.
She made a chocking noise while looking at him.
He raised his hand trying to wave at her in a way to look friendly but he seemed to have forgotten his hands were now smeared in fresh blood.
" Hi."
She recalled like he was a curse being thrown directly at her. He stood up wanting to approach her. He was just being friendly. The director said to be friendly sometimes. So he decided to apply her teachings for the first time.
" Stay away from me!" The girl shouted as she started to move away her back still on the wall.
He raised his hands in surrender after seeing her reactions.
" Lady, trust me. I'm not try to traumatized you.. I'm trying to be helpful here," he said more calmly.
She stopped and stared at him, her eyes suspicious. He stared back at her. This awkward stare lasted for sometime.
Then he sighed dramatically breaking the silence.
"Great . My poison doesn't work, a spider ate me twice and now the prettiest girl in school thinks I'm a weirdo. Great just great way to start an apocalypse," he murmured to himself softly.
A spider leg fell of the body falling with a loud wet plop breaking the silence.
She shrieked.
He winced at that.
" Yeah that's fair," he said outloud.
She looked at the huge body of the spider behind him torn in half. Half of the things happening Infront of her had not really registered. She had been just going on with his flow.
This was the moment she realized, she was standing here Infront of a man full of blood, human body parts everywhere, a torn body on the other side and a dead weird looking spider creature. Her heart thudded in her chest as she watched him approach her.
She was the school beauty adored and unreachable so the sight of Shawn walking towards her snapped her last holding nerves.
She turned and bolted her golden hair flowing behind her as she ran.
It wasn't the most graceful run as she stumbled on air while running trying her level best not to step on the dry blood on the floor.
She had been curious when she heard a scream and she just ran towards it in hopes of saving the person. She really regretted her curiosity. She was the cat that was finally caught.
Shawn seeing her run chased after her, he was scared she might meet another of this creatures and he wanted to be a gentle man for once. The spider had probably scared her
He called out to her," wait..wait!..I'm not trying to..." But he was mentally exhausted and still adrenaline drunk from all the fights and deaths.
He himself didn't notice but he had a deranged smile on his face, he was trying to look friendly, and his run was more of a crazy staggering. It had only been a few minutes after his resurrection.
To her, he looked more like a lunatic chasing after her.
In the middle of their chase game shawn activated his OMNISIGHT, he wanted to see her stats and emotional state.

He almost tripped after seeing her stats. She was really scared.
" Oh .crap, "
He thought to himself, was seeing the spider that scary or had something else scared her.

Shawn started to notice that he more he chased the more the fear percentage increased.

While Shawn was busy looking at the prompt, Althea turned around. She saw that his eyes looked more unfocused looking at something intop of her head.
She let out aloud scream thinking he was planning on blowing off her head or something worse.
" What is wrong with you? Someone help!..." She shouted but her voice came out more of a whimper.
Shawn saw her mumbling something, he thought she was trying to talk to him. He lifted both his hands in the air in a form of surrender.
He thought this would make him look less threatening while still jogging after her , naked.
"Stop running, you are making it worse," his words echoed down the hallway. He didn't even know where they were. He was trying to stop her from panicking since her fear was over the roofs.
But to her this sounded exactly like what a deranged killer would say to his victims before killing them.
She trips over her feet and falls down skidding across the hard floor. She groaned as the floor scrapped her knees and hands. Her tears flowing more.
He stopped a few steps from her fallen figure hands still raised in surrender trying to desperately to not look like a lunatic.
"Hey, hey...calm down, calm down, I'm not trying to hurt..." he tried to convince her.
But the moment he took one cautious step forward the system panel appeared Infront of him.

She screamed again her hair in disarray.
He groaned to himself dragging a bloody hand over his face smearing the blood more.
"I literally just killed a giant spider. Why is talking harder?" he said to himself wondering how he had gotten himself into this mess.
Althea screams cut off mid breath suddenly. He looks up to see what the problem was, a scream would not be cut off that abruptly.
On the floor, he watches in shock as her eyes rilled back and her body goes limp. She falls back like a heap her head hitting the floor with a loud thud.
He flinched at that.
He stared at her for a full second.
"..... Oh she actually fainted," he said after a while.
The system panel appears above her body one last time.

He walked over slowly to her fallen body and looked at her , he didn't touch her directly since he was scared she might just wake up and scream right down his ear.
"Great. First girl I meet in the apocalypse and I scared her into passing out. Off to a Great start," he mumbled to himself.
Shawn observed her carefully, she looked like a porcelain doll, a dirty one at that but still breathtaking.
The universe seemed to love that even in her fallen state she looked divine, her golden hair was spread around her like a halo. A few strands were sticking to her cheeks due to sweat from all the running.
Her mouth was slightly open as she breath in heavily. She had blood on her knees and hands but mostly dirt from skidding across floor.
He moved closer and bent down to check her breathing. Great she had really just fainted he thought to himself happily.
He decided to check her head since she had hit it pretty badly on the floor after she fainted. He pushed his hand into her hair and came into contact with a small bump.
" Ooh, that's gonna hurt," he said after feeling the bump.
He hesitated for a moment then decide to throw cation to the wind, he picked her up and slug her over his shoulders, her stomach on his shoulder.
She was lighter than he had expected and her perfume hit him the moment they came into contact. She was also warm against his body giving a small warmth on his naked body.
His walked quietly down the hallway as he headed for the gymnasium. The other dead guy had told him the school had asked for an assembly of all students so he decided to go to the gym.
