Chapter 294 - Gathering Darkhold

Doctor Strange noticed the abnormality in Reed and Tony.

"The wind... did you bring it?" Stephen asked tentatively.

Aaron nodded and muttered, "Since the Darkhold has been fully collected, it should be arriving soon."

Hmm?

Everyone was confused.

Reed hurriedly said, "And H.E.R.B.I.E., where is he now?"

"H.E.R.B.I.E.?"

Aaron recalled that he seemed to be a robot butler created by Reed, similar to Tony's F.R.I.D.A.Y..

Didn't they use to be good friends?

"Let me think. He should have landed along with the Darkhold?" Aaron said uncertainly.

Reed looked startled upon hearing this. He felt that this wasn't reliable at all.

Didn't you summon this wind? Why do you look like you don't know anything?

"It's coming." Aaron looked up at the sky.

Everyone followed his gaze, but the wind was calm and the waves were still. So where was the item?

Just as they were thinking, a dark shadow suddenly descended from the sky.

Moon Knight subconsciously wanted to dodge, as if he had developed a certain trauma regarding things falling from the sky. He now absolutely hated the bastards who threw things from the sky, it was too irresponsible.

However, what fell this time was not a dump truck, nor was it a large skirt, nor a sledgehammer. Instead, it was a flying car.

H.E.R.B.I.E., driving the flying car, hurriedly manipulated the buttons and finally managed to stop just before hitting the ground.

"Hello! Everyone is here." He greeted the crowd.

Seeing H.E.R.B.I.E. unharmed, Reed and the others breathed a sigh of relief.

H.E.R.B.I.E. then said dejectedly, "Sorry, I didn't find the Darkhold."

Reed comforted him, "It's alright, you did great. It's enough that you're okay."

Saying this, Reed looked at Aaron.

Tony also looked over, his gaze seeming to ask, 'Where is the book you mentioned?'

Sensing everyone's gaze, Aaron looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle. "Don't worry, let the wind blow a little longer."

As if hearing his words, at this moment, a gentle breeze swept past.

Under the astonished gaze of everyone, dozens of pages, one after another, followed the wind and landed precisely in Aaron's hands.

Aaron shook the thick, ancient pages. "See? Isn't it all here?"

Tony opened his mouth, feeling his nose flush red.

He fell silent.

What happened tonight completely shattered his understanding of luck.

Are you seriously not the Goddess of Luck herself?

Damn it, a man favored by the Goddess of Luck is truly annoying.

Iron Fist rubbed his nose and voiced what everyone was thinking, "He couldn't be the main character, right?"

The others froze, looking at Aaron with strange expressions.

Aaron really looks like the main character.

Whether it was strength or treatment, there was no difference between him and a MC.

Surrounded by women, accompanied by Divine Pets, getting wind when he wants wind, and rain when he wants rain.

Aaron carefully flipped through the Darkhold and found that two pages were missing from the middle.

One of the pages was the Vampire Chapter, used to create immortal life.

As for the other page—

Aaron looked into the distance.

"Fisk is still alive?"

"Huh?!"

Tony was stunned. "Are you talking about Wilson Fisk?"

Reed reacted. "He also has a page of the Darkhold?"

Aaron nodded. "Right now, he's preparing an auction to sell this page of the Darkhold."

These Super Villains are truly insane. They prioritize money over their lives.

Even in an era where Vampires run rampant, he dares to organize an auction.

Does he really think Vampires are just messing around with them?

Suddenly, fog began to rise in the already dark and gloomy New York.

The heavy, dark thick fog spread to several nearby streets in a very short time.

Without warning, without preparedness, wherever the thick fog enveloped, visibility was zero.

Even electronic devices were affected by the thick fog and struggled to operate.

"Be careful, this might be a tactic of Dracula."

Tony looked down at the thick fog data scanned by F.R.I.D.A.Y.. His satellite was now completely blind.

The combination of night and thick fog turned the city into a silent land.

Stephen's eyebrow twitched, and he subconsciously looked at Aaron.

Noticing Aaron's excessive calmness, he vaguely felt that this thick fog might be related to Aaron. But he didn't detect any magic from it, which left him uncertain.

After all, this phenomenon looked exactly like the methods used by those Dimensional Rulers.

If the color were a bit more purple, wouldn't it be Dormammu?

"Mhm, found it." Aaron muttered to himself.

This thick fog was summoned by him—it was living "Fog" carrying his consciousness.

Wherever the fog enveloped, they were all his eyes and ears.

Right at this moment, Fisk Tower, which displayed the slogan "Making New York Better" and was located across from Avengers Tower, was rapidly being filled by the fog, which had been stained black by the night.

The entire tower was thoroughly saturated, while deep underground in a Nuclear-Proof Safe Room within the tower, Kingpin and several black-clad Subordinates watched helplessly as a large mass of fog surged into the room through the ventilation pipes.

Kingpin's face darkened. He had spent tens of millions of dollars to build this safe room.

Back then, the contractor had sworn to him that the Security Facilities here were top-notch, and the Air Circulation and Purification System was twenty years ahead of the world.

Yet, this strange fog was quickly filling the place.

"Something is wrong! Go immediately and turn the air purification system to maximum!" Kingpin said urgently.

The black-clad subordinate, hearing the command, dove into the fog and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Then a series of crashing sounds came from the fog, and as a flash of electrical light went by, the lights in the safe room began to flicker.

Kingpin cursed loudly, "Idiot! You went to the Electrical Control Room!"

However, the other party did not reply, and a smell of burning permeated the air.

As the light dimmed, the entire room was plunged into darkness.

Kingpin subconsciously tried to grab the Darkhold, but when he tentatively reached out, the Darkhold had already vanished.

"Who stole my thing!"

"Got it!"

A Fog Passage appeared before Aaron, which then spat out the page.

"Only the last page remains. Let's go to Dracula's Castle."

Stephen asked in surprise, "Dracula has already obtained the Vampire Chapter?"

"Doesn't that mean he is currently performing the final Transformation Ritual?"

His expression changed drastically. "This is bad! We must stop him immediately. If we're too late, Vampires will truly become the Dominators of Earth."

The fundamental reason Vampires can currently occupy New York is that the moon is high in the sky.

Once the sun rises, these arrogant Vampires will be reduced to rats in the darkness, and it will be impossible for them to ever become the Masters of Earth.

But once Dracula's ritual succeeds, Vampires will be able to move freely, whether it is day or night. Without weaknesses, they will be unstoppable.

Wait, will they truly be unstoppable?

Everyone subconsciously glanced at Aaron.

Maybe not?
