Chapter 296 - Leaving Blade Behind

Tony and Reed looked at Aaron in unison.

Aaron had gotten some melon seeds from somewhere and was cracking them.

"Why are you looking at me? You guys continue, isn't there still a person… a ghost?"

Aaron pointed to the frozen Black Panther behind him.

Tony and Stephen looked over simultaneously.

At this time, Black Panther had been transformed by a Vampire, but for some reason, he still possessed self-awareness.

Logically speaking, based on their understanding of Black Panther, he would very likely choose Tony, as they were "comrades" in every universe.

But Black Panther was a Vampire now, would he really support killing himself?

So Black Panther might also join the activation faction, to get things back on track.

Tony and Reed were both unsure of Black Panther's stance. They exchanged knowing glances, understanding certain meanings in each other's eyes.

Nodding, they tacitly moved their gaze away from Black Panther.

The frozen Black Panther: …

Look at me, I haven't been unfrozen yet!

According to the original plot, Black Panther would fully recover after eating the heart-shaped herb with the help of Reed and Tony.

But now, he could only stand in the hall as a marginalized figure.

Undoubtedly, the person who could now determine the course of events was Aaron. He alone had six votes, enough to end the game.

Whichever faction could win over Aaron would win.

"Mr. Aaron, what do you think?" Tony asked tentatively.

Aaron thought for a moment, waved his hand to conjure a chair, and sat down. "I'm sitting and watching."

Tony: …

Reed's eyes lit up. "Mr. Aaron, what do you think of my method?"

"To be honest, not very good."

Aaron looked at Reed with a hint of scrutiny. "Don't you have any self-awareness?"

"Oh, right, not just you, but you too." Aaron looked at Stephen.

It really was a gathering of brilliant but misguided minds.

What were you planning to do together? Add more spice to an already bad world, making it even worse?

Tony's lips curved into a smile, he was almost unable to hold it back.

However, at this moment, Aaron looked over. "What are you smiling about? You're not much better."

Luna and the others' shoulders shook as they tried their best not to laugh out loud.

Tony and Reed reacted after a brief moment of discomfort.

No wonder you didn't speak. Turns out you're your own faction, with your own choice.

And Aaron's side has six people… or maybe five, does Ratatoskr count as a person? That's debatable.

"Alright, I understand now. All of you have either terrible moves or risky moves. Each of you acts under the guise of being conservative while doing the most radical things. No, there's no 'most radical,' only 'more radical.'"

"Let's do as I say, go find Dracula." Aaron shook his head helplessly.

Choose? He wouldn't choose anything.

Luckily, he wasn't from the same universe as these people. Otherwise, one day, he would definitely die a mysterious death.

Therefore, relying on others is not as good as relying on oneself.

The world suppressed by himself was the most reassuring.

A corner of New York.

Dracula's ancient castle.

Under Aaron's leadership, the two divided hero factions surprisingly united.

"Heroes, that's Dracula's castle ahead."

"But before entering the castle, you can go through the door next to it. This is Dracula's dungeon, and perhaps you can get some help inside."

Galacta's playful voice followed them all the way, guiding everyone towards the ancient castle, and the enemy's attack direction.

Aaron, who had been riding Ratatoskr all this time, glanced in the direction of the dungeon.

Tony pondered. "Who could be in the dungeon?"

Doreen raised her hand. "I know, it must be Blade."

Reed's right arm stretched for tens of meters, picking up a missing person's poster from the ground, pointing at a muscular man wearing sunglasses and carrying a sword.

"Is this the person?"

Everyone looked.

The newspaper headline read in large letters: Vampire Hunter Still Missing?

"Eric Brooks. Oh, a good height, 1.88 meters."

"Huh, a Vampire Hunter even has relatives? Brielle Brooks? Sounds like his mother?"

Iron Fist fell into deep thought.

"That's his daughter."

Aaron glanced and then withdrew his gaze.

"Are we going to save him?" Magik looked at Aaron.

Aaron waved his hand. "Didn't the Midnight Special say how to handle it?"

"If any kind citizen finds the whereabouts of this man, please contact his relative, Brielle Brooks..."

Iron Fist suddenly realized. "I'll call her right now."

Aaron nodded in satisfaction. "There's no need to waste time on a Vampire Hunter. One more or one less won't make a difference. Let his daughter save him."

Tony and the other superheroes felt somewhat unaccustomed to Aaron's choice.

According to normal practice, shouldn't they save the person first?

Aaron sensed their thoughts and asked, "Or do you think saving Blade is more important than dealing with Dracula?"

Upon hearing this, Tony and the others immediately fell silent.

For now, Blade will have to suffer a bit. He's been captured for so long anyway, so one more night won't hurt.

A trace of worry appeared on Luna's face. "Can Brielle handle these Vampires?"

Aaron said indifferently, "Don't worry about her. Brielle is another Blade. These small fries won't be able to stop her."

He remembered that the other party was an ordinary-looking girl, not on his 'menu'. So she could only rely on herself.

Hearing Aaron say this, the others let go of their urge to rescue and save people. They continued towards Dracula's castle.

Soon, a brilliant light barrier blocked their path.

Aaron patted Ratatoskr's head. The latter bent down slightly, briefly charged the sharp horn on her head, then dashed forward.

The sharp horn, transformed from a World Tree branch, pierced through the protective shield that isolated external foreign objects, as if tearing through a membrane.

Aaron could sense a part of the World Tree's aura from the horn on Ratatoskr's head. This thing could rival Gungnir in Odin's hand. Both contained World Tree branches and possessed the characteristic of piercing through all objects.

However, Aaron had already devoured Gungnir, thereby obtaining the characteristic of hitting every target, so he didn't bother devouring Ratatoskr.

Of course, the most important thing was that Ratatoskr was quite fond of him.

Without even needing to go through the Primordial Furnace, she voluntarily came to him, absolutely loyal and reliable.

After all, Aaron was the World Tree in human form, so there was no possibility of Ratatoskr betraying him.

The moment the protective barrier shattered, the Vampire legions surrounding the castle charged out from every corner, fearless of death.

And in the sky above, countless Vampire bats hovered.

These Vampire bats converged into a sea of bats, surging towards the crowd.

Aaron looked up, his mouth moving slightly, emitting an inexplicable sound.

The tide-like Vampire bats retreated from their berserk state.

Under the watchful eyes of Tony and the others, they uniformly flew high into the sky again.

Doreen noticed something and asked, "You can speak Bat-language?"

"You can't?" Aaron turned to look at her.

Doreen opened her mouth, then shook her head.

But soon, she inexplicably burst out laughing.

She could control rodents through Squirrel-language, but mainly squirrels.

However, during her previous battle with Dracula, Dracula also spoke Squirrel-language, neutralizing her most important ability.

How long had it been?

Aaron used Bat-language to NTR Dracula, avenging her.

Aaron is so good.

Doreen's favorability +1.
