Chapter 358 - The First Born

Aaron instructed, "Diana, carefully recall what I taught you before, and truly feel your own power."

Diana nodded heavily, the bracelets on her wrists erupted with brilliant golden light, and the divine power within her surged dramatically.

Recalling Circe's contempt and her raised hoe in her mind, filled with endless anger, Diana unleashed power far exceeding her past self, splitting the magic shield with one swing of her sword, and the slash headed straight for Circe.

Circe was quite surprised, and quickly retreated to avoid the sharp edge. Dark purple magic surged, forming a magical telekinetic force that briefly bound Diana with powerful control.

But Diana twisted her body and broke free from the telekinetic hand, closing in again, and with a single sword strike, split Circe in two.

Feeling the feedback from the blade, Diana instinctively sensed something was wrong and withdrew her sword to defend. However, Circe had appeared in front of Aaron at some unknown point.

An invisible allure emanated from her.

Circe winked at Aaron, her voice laced with a seductive gasp, exhaling a fragrant breath. "My dear, come with me. Let's establish a new order of the gods together. You will be the new king, and I… will be your queen."

This was Circe's charm magic. She usually used this move to control those overconfident men, turning them into cannon fodder.

In the past, this move was always successful.

And this time, Circe set her sights on Aaron, wanting to repeat the trick.

As the reconnaissance vanguard, once Circe was discovered and exposed, this operation had already failed. If she could abduct Aaron, it would still be a worthwhile effort.

Such a high-quality man shouldn't die with this group of unromantic Amazonian tomboys. That would be too much of a waste.

However, facing Circe's charm, Aaron showed no signs of being enchanted. Instead, his eyes lit up slightly, and an invisible power emanated from him.

Circe instinctively sensed something was wrong, yet her eyes, looking at Aaron, suddenly became hazy and shy.

Immediately after, a majestic voice, impossible to refuse, rang out.

"Kneel."

"Yes, Master."

Under Diana's astonished gaze, Circe knelt straight before Aaron, her eyes watery as she looked at him, filled with worship and love.

"She… what is she doing?" Diana's eyes widened.

"Magic backlash. She tried to cast charm magic on me, but it backfired after failing, and this is the result."

Aaron gently stroked Circe's purple hair. The latter closed her eyes greedily, intoxicated and lingering like a cat.

Everyone else gasped upon hearing this.

Especially Hippolyta. Circe was a notorious witch, yet she was subdued by Aaron in a single encounter.

Could Aaron's magic be even more powerful?

Diana pursed her lips, and her Lasso of Truth, turning into a golden light, shot out, binding Circe round and round. The other end of the rope was in Diana's hand.

Circe merely glared at Diana, then struggled to get closer to Aaron. "So fragrant."

"Circe, what exactly is your purpose for being here? Who sent you?"

Diana flicked the rope, causing Circe to lose her balance slightly while kneeling, clearly doing so intentionally, fueled by her recent emotions.

Circe's magic could not exempt her from the power of the Lasso of Truth. While looking at Aaron with a dazed expression, she said, "Just a few days ago, an inexplicable power affected the cosmic balance. The rapidly expanding dark power was curbed, which enraged the Titan and another faction of gods dissatisfied with the status quo."

"Moreover, you killed Ares, so the sons of Ares took the opportunity to claim that this power originated from Themyscira."

"Although those gods didn't believe it, given the special nature of Themyscira, they sought me out, wanting me to explore its secrets."

Under Diana's fiery gaze, Circe finished her answer and then whispered to Aaron with deep affection, "My dear, I am not deceiving you. I truly like you. Come away with me. Once those fellows descend, Themyscira will surely be destroyed."

Diana was furious. Under the binding of the Lasso of Truth, everything Circe said was true.

So, Circe really wanted to poach her man!

Diana was distracted by Circe's antics, but Hippolyta was not.

"It's those Titan… They've also set their sights on Themyscira."

Hippolyta's expression was complex.

When Zeus defeated the Titans and sealed them, those fellows still hadn't given up. They had been secretly accumulating power and recruiting some individuals, attempting to reignite war once more. If it was them, then it wasn't surprising.

However… what power had disrupted the cosmic balance?

Hippolyta instinctively looked at Aaron. She thought of the entropy Aaron had spoken of.

Seeing Hippolyta's expression, Antiope and Diana, who had recovered, also realized this point.

They had heard from Artemis that Aaron had curbed the growth of entropy.

Aaron nodded, admitting to the matter.

Circe was stunned. "Ah, it really was you?"

"The sons of Ares actually guessed correctly?"

Speaking of this, Circe was a bit conflicted. "But it doesn't matter. As long as we kill everyone here, only you and I will know."

"You don't say, I don't say, they will never find out it was you who did it."

"When we find an opportunity to get rid of them, this world will belong to us." Circe's eyes glowed with pink hearts.

Her entire being was fixated on Aaron. Even if she had to die for Aaron now, she would not hesitate.

"Thank you for everything you've done for this world. We'll take it from here."

Hippolyta made up her mind, not wanting to involve Aaron further.

She looked at Circe and demanded, "Who else is involved in this operation?"

Circe answered without hesitation, "There's Eris, Goddess of Strife, Phobos, God of Fear, Deimos, God of Dread, and the imprisoned Titans."

"Besides them, there are two other evil individuals. One is Cassandra, daughter of Zeus, and the other is The Firstborn, rumored to be a son of Zeus."

"The First Born? A son of Zeus!" Hippolyta was shocked.

Diana looked over. "Who is he? I've never heard of him."

Hippolyta hesitated, pondering for a moment.

Under Aaron's gaze, she stammered, "I once heard a rumor that Zeus had another child, The First Born, a deity who perfectly inherited the potential of Zeus's bloodline."

"However, on the day he was born, Zeus received a prophecy that the First Born would step over the corpses of the gods and ascend to Zeus's throne."

"Zeus, fearing the prophecy would come true, abandoned him."

"I thought it was just an unfounded rumor, but I didn't expect it to be true."

"And… I heard The First Born was cast into the center of the Earth by Zeus. He's actually not dead?"

Hippolyta looked at Diana, as if realizing something.

Circe said, "You're right. The First Born is filled with rage. He wants to prove that Zeus abandoning him was the biggest mistake, and he spent thousands of years climbing out of the Earth's core."

"At the same time, he learned of Diana's existence and deeply resents her life, attempting to kill her to prove that he is Zeus's most outstanding child."

Hippolyta's face was full of worry, it was Zeus's fault again.

"Circe!"

Just as everyone was worried about the impending crisis, an angry roar sounded from beyond the sky.

Upon hearing the voice, Circe froze, her face turning pale as a corpse.

"First Born!"

"Bitch, you deserve to die!"

The owner of the voice grew angrier. He didn't expect that after his warning, a mere Circe would still dare to disobey him.

Accompanied by a thunderclap in the sky, several figures descended from above.

The leader wore a specially made beast-hide armor. His body, over two meters tall, was incredibly muscular, and his deep, weathered eyes were slightly red, filled with endless killing intent.

Beside him were two men and two women.

One of them was his sister, Cassandra, and the other three were Ares's children.

Everyone was quite surprised by The First Born's arrival, only Aaron's expression remained normal.

Before anyone could react, The First Born stretched out his calloused, cracked hand.

Circe felt her blood boil, her breathing became difficult, and her face grew even paler.

No one could tell what means The First Born had used.

However, Aaron merely patted Circe's shoulder lightly, and she immediately returned to normal, gasping for air.

At the same time, the Lasso of Truth automatically retracted.

"My dear, I knew you wouldn't watch me die."

Circe, as if given new life, ran behind Aaron, looking at The First Born with lingering fear. "Be careful, he can control blood like a Vampire, and his strength is extremely formidable. Even the Titans are quite wary of him."

Everyone was awestruck.

Controlling blood was minor, the Titans' wariness was what truly needed attention.

Those Titans were a powerful force capable of contending with Zeus for dominion over the world. An existence that could make them wary, even if not as strong as Zeus, was still more powerful than ordinary main gods.

At least, other main gods besides Zeus, including Hades and Poseidon, still lacked some experience.

"You actually helped a spy."

The First Born stared intently at Aaron, his killing intent undisguised.

"You have to look at the owner when you beat a dog. Who gave you the guts to act recklessly?" Aaron glanced at him indifferently.

In that instant, The First Born actually felt a hint of fear within him.

He quickly suppressed it, then glared angrily at Phobos behind him. "Keep your power in check, or I'll kill you."

Phobos, who was eyeing the Amazon Warriors, was full of questions.

It wasn't me who provoked you, why are you getting angry at me?

The First Born finished speaking and without waiting for a reply, looked at Circe, only to see that she wasn't angry at all, but rather clinging to Aaron even more.

As if becoming Aaron's dog was her honor.

Even someone as fierce as The First Born couldn't help but feel speechless at this moment. How did he not notice Circe was so… despicable before?

When he first met her some time ago, she was very arrogant.

Tsk, women.

The First Born felt that getting angry with Circe was too foolish. He didn't want to talk to such an idiot, so he turned his gaze to Diana.

"Daughter of Zeus… are you the god-slayer he left behind?"

"Let me see what abilities you possess."

The thought of his excellent self being abandoned while the weak Diana was entrusted with great responsibility by Zeus filled The First Born with an uncontrollable rage.

He wanted to personally kill Diana and declare war on Zeus.

Boom!

His entire body shot out like a cannonball, instantly appearing before Diana. She barely reacted, crossing her arms and using her Bracelets of Victory to block the furious attack.

However, Diana was too young at this time. Facing The First Born, who surpassed ordinary main gods, she was instantly sent flying.

The First Born pressed his advantage, continuing the pursuit.

Hippolyta and Antiope quickly tried to intervene, but their speed couldn't keep up with The First Born's movements.

Just then, a lithe figure emerged from behind the crowd. She flung out a rope, firmly binding The First Born.

Then, a young girl, about fifteen or sixteen years old, dressed somewhat similarly to Diana, jumped out.

Hippolyta exclaimed in surprise upon seeing the newcomer. "Donna Troy!"

"Wonder Girl?"

Aaron looked at the newly appeared girl with slight surprise.

Artemis looked over in surprise. "Wonder Girl? You know her? Isn't her name Donna Troy?"

"In a way, yes."

Aaron remembered that Donna had briefly appeared in the Titan team, essentially a weaker, duplicate version of Wonder Woman.

The rope in her hand was a Magic Lasso, possessing abilities similar to the Lasso of Truth. Whether it had the truth-compelling property was unclear.

"Is she also an Amazon Warrior?"

Artemis nodded. "Donna is a mixed-blood Amazon Warrior. I don't know who her parents are, but she is the leader of the newest generation."

"She possesses combat skills second only to Diana, Antiope, and me. In terms of physical strength, she is even above me."

Aaron listened while observing Donna.

From her, he sensed a strange yet familiar power. It was divine power from the same origin as the DC Old gods, different from the Old gods, but equally powerful.

Recalling his memories from before transmigrating, Aaron guessed that the divine power within Donna came from the Titans.

It was said that Donna was originally a copycat Wonder Woman created by the Titans from clay, in imitation of Diana's birth. They intended for Donna to replace Diana, even contend with Diana for the throne, and kill her.

For this, they bestowed Donna with various Titan powers and crafted a set of equipment similar to the Six Divine Artifacts.

However, what the Titans didn't expect was that, even though Donna and Diana were competitors on the same path, Donna not only didn't resent Diana but was proud of her, transforming into a Superhero.

This thwarted the Titans' plans.

Thinking of this, Aaron became interested.

He had thought there was no one on Themyscira he valued besides Diana and Artemis, but it turned out Donna was hidden there.
