My name is Sebastian Miller. I am a 17 years old boy who lives in a small town called Cornucopia. Nothing here is unusual, except that some people actually have superpowers. Yes, real superpowers.
Some decades ago some people started developing superpowers and humanity created schools for training them ans systems to classify them. I study in Eagle High, a superhero teenager school here in Cornucopia.
My whole life was very sad because I didn't have a single power, until this day that I fainted during PE. I was running from a bully with my friends, and I tripped on a rock. I dreamed about a godess giving me not one superpower, but the way of conquering all of them: an anime system, just like those I watched.
I woke up on the infirmary with a system screen in front of me:
[Lv 1 - Sebastian Miller]
Class: to be chosen
Strength (8) +1
Luck (17)
Constitution (12)
Dexterity (13) +1
Wisdom (5)
Intelligence (10) +1
Charisma (6)
I immediatly went through all the classes, and ended up being a mage, because it was the most useful class in real life.
Then I put on my clothes and prepared to leave the infirmary when my friend Peter Edson hugged stopped me to ask if I was okay. Peter was a cool guy from my friend group that seated right behind me on class. He was from a small rural nearby town, which really matched his animal morphing superpower. He said he thought I had been really hurt from the accident, but I seemed alright so he was releaved.
I knew this wasn't an accident. Some godess had mercy on me, and I don't wish to throw this chance away.
We talked on the way back to class, and the first thing that I did was taking a better look at the system. There was a skill store, wich worked with the system coins. I could get system coins completing quests and leveling up.
It didn't look too hard, until I looked at the quests. I was a sedentary, and the first quest was to do 10 push-ups.
I really wanted those coins, so I did it while on PE. After completing it, I finally got enough coins to bug my first E rank skill. I had to be careful. There were a lot of options but all of them should allign with my main plan: becoming the greatest hero to ever exist. It has been my plan since I was 12, and now, at 17, I could finally complete it.
I don't know why the mind reading skill was so cheap, even though it was rank S, but I bought it
Suddenly, another screen appeared in my face.
[Mind reading]
This skill lets the user read other people's minds, becoming easier through each level.
*Warning: check your mana bar before using your skills, or you could faint from mana lack.
Ok, that was quite the description. I really wanted to test it, so I tried it on my other friend She was thinking about eating and she wanted to play. Normal dog stuff, nothing surreal.
Altough this proved that it worked, I wanted to level it up to try on people.
The next quest was drinking 2 liters of water, wich I quickly did. I gained enough coins to buy another skill. This time, I wanted to buy a more expensive skill, so I kept the coins and went to the next quest. After 3 more quests, I had reached level 5, and could buy 2 rank D skills.
It was already time to sleep, so I decided to buy them tomorrow and exchange my stats points by the morning.
