Chapter 11 - alex

Here's where I'll begin. I don't even want to do this, but I'm a well-mannered man.

My name is Alex Katara. I am the heir of the Katara family, the richest family in Aosaka. We used to be just a small group of yakuza, but over time, we grew.

You should already know—if you're not stupid and can read—that I have a little brother named Sohan. Same father, different mother.

Sohan's mother was my father's mistress. After my own mother died, my father brought them back into the family. But shortly after my eighteenth birthday, both Sohan's mother and our father died in a car accident. Because of that tragedy, Sohan became extremely dependent on me.

The truth is, I'm always there for him. I give him everything he wants, and it doesn't bother me, because since Sohan came into my life, I found a purpose. I had someone to protect and to love. After my father's death, I immediately took control of all the companies. I had already received a lot of training from my father, so managing everything was easy.

I took good care of Sohan all these years. He loves and respects me deeply. That's how I know I've been a good big brother.

But the problem is that Sohan became too dependent on me. I wanted him to make friends and be able to handle things on his own. So I had the idea of transferring him to another school, pretending that he lacked real friends and that rich kids weren't trustworthy. He accepted immediately without asking questions. I like that he trusts me completely… but it's too much. My intentions aren't even pure.

Sohan thinks I don't know what's happening around him. He doesn't know that I paid his classmates to bully him.

"I didn't do anything wrong. I was just trying to show him the harsh reality of life."

I didn't expect that boy named Soren to interfere. If no one had helped him, how would he have gotten through it? I knew he wouldn't come talk to me about it, and that was fine. He had to learn by himself.

But after this story and after meeting Soren, Sohan changed. He became more aggressive and possessive. So I decided to stop get involved in his life. Because of me, he developed very dark traits.

At fifteen, Sohan confessed to me that he liked men. I was surprised, but I accepted him with open arms. After his seventeenth birthday, he started going out a lot to clubs and bars. Personally, I didn't mind.

And when he told me he was dating Soren, I accepted it too. After all, he's my only brother and the only person I have left in this world. Since our parents died, it was the first time I saw him so open and happy.

But what shocked me the most was when he asked me to "teach a lesson" to a boy who had attacked him at a hotel—without going too far. I was surprised by the request, but as usual, I sent my men to investigate the boy.

And that's when the big surprise happened. The boy I was supposed to deal with was named Angi. And digging further, I discovered he was Soren's little brother.

Things became very complicated. I didn't understand why my little brother wanted to hurt the brother of his own lover. Looks like he really has a bit of yakuza blood in him.

To help my brother teach Angi a lesson, I decided to make him my personal toy for a while. I own a villa isolated from the city, so I took him there and locked him up while I watched him through the cameras. I got the idea from a manga I found in my brother's room… what was it called again? Ah yes: A Room Without Windows, though I only read the first chapters.

My brother really reads terrifying manga. If I had to list them all, it would take too long, but here are a few that traumatized me:

Painter in the Night

Dark Fall

Morpheus

Non Zero-Sum

There were more, but I'm too lazy to keep going. I read a good part of these, and I plan to use them as references to deal with Angi. I don't know why, but I started enjoying my brother's books too. You could say we're both twisted.

I also searched online and discovered that this genre is called "dark romance" and that women really love it. Maybe that's why they're strange.

"These artists are completely insane… poor bottom Who suffers Like that ."

Anyway, the first phase of my plan is done: kidnapping Angi, locking him in the villa, releasing the dog inside to see how he would survive. But from what I saw, he really only has his mouth to defend himself.

His brother is worried about him, but I don't think he knows what's really happening. I'll use that to my advantage. It might shock him.

"Hahaha… I hope he's not thinking he can escape."

How naïve.

And according to my research, I'm almost sure he doesn't like men. So why hide it from his brother? I'm dying to know.

I watch him from the surveillance screen, leaning against my desk. He stands there, silent, imprisoned in my villa. Normally, in the books I read, a hostage cries, begs, or trembles.

Why isn't he afraid?

Oh… that's where I see it. He is crying—but…

A light laugh escapes me.

Then I zoom in on his face and realize he's only pretending.

"Interesting…"

I wonder how I'm going to deal with him…

That reminds me—

Sohan: "Big brother! That's enough! You're seriously getting on my nerves. Are you going to keep talking forever?"

Alex: "…That's none of your business."

Sohan: "Hey! We want the story to move forward and you keep talking about everything and nothing!"

Alex: "Hm… okay."

Sohan: "Dear reader, sorry about my big brother. Bye."

Alex: "Tch."

Sohan: "Big brother!!!"
