Chief: 'Um... strong ones...?

I stop internally laughing, when I heard Rimuru ask what I did while I turn serious when Rimuru were asking the question. Seeing the chief stay quiet for a while 'I know Rimuru is putting on air even though he knows he's going to help. We still needed to make sure that they knew that even if we would everything is required to have something in return for helping.'
Chief: "Well...well...offer up our loyalty to you! please grant us your protection." With my son doing the same thing having us kneel in front of them.
I sigh and say "Rimuru, I think that's enough let's just get to work."

I walk to the front of the village and for me to 'now their scout, should be... on the mountain cliff. Making sure I'm standing in a secure position I inhale and "howl!" Just when the dire wolve does but being that mine is stronger, I overpower his. Making the whole Jura forest hear my howl to where it can be felt through all non and living things. Having all the powerhouse monsters know that there's another stronger begin in the forest that's has same strength or stronger than them. But unknown to Selee is that the 3 humans, they ran into earlier were still around the Jura forest.
The female: "What was that! even a few miles away from the forest we heard that."
The first male: "I know right, I didn't even know that besides Veldora there was another force so strong in the forest."
Second male: "We need to get back quickly and notify Fuse of this."

With the others behind me, I see Selene at the front of the Village starting to turn around and walk back in our direction. "Selene, are you ok? why did you send out a warning, like that? you scared me. I thought something happened to you."
Startled by seeing Rimuru and the goblins, "sorry guys I didn't mean to worry you, it just that I want to make the dire wolves think twice before attacking knowing that if they did. They would face a dangerous threat, to their lively hood when they came."
Great sage: 'Detection, I notice a second howl, while Selene was but begin that hers was stronger it overpowered the other one.'
Rimuru: 'Oh I see' before saying "but Selene how did you know that there was an enemy nearby."
Having a Smile show on my face "Jezz... I wonder how" as I give him a playful wink, before saying "shouldn't we have other things to worry about."

Chief: "y-yes of course! right away."

Looking at Rimuru as I was smiling "you take, care of the injured while I have the chief gather everyone and prepare them."
Rimuru: Ok, I'll join you after I'm done treating them.
Nodding I turn to the chief and ask, "can you gather the ones that can fight and have them gather here."
Chief: "Yes lord Selene, I will go and gather everyone."

Looking around at them I think 'battered armor which has gotten rusted to were that their weapons are not use able in the least, let's not forget how scrawny they are ha... We have our work cut out for us, well not really if me and Rimuru just deal with the initial attacks.' Leaving my thoughts I say, "you guys know what to expected right"?
The to be Rigur: "Hai! were ready to put our lives on the line, to defend our home in this life-or-death battle!"
Not saying anything because I know Rimuru is coming out. "Big brother, how long are you going to sit there? trying to act like you're not done."

I sigh and say "Rimuru, do you really think that I would let the goblins go to their emitted death."
Rimuru: "Selene, it not that I think you would...but earlier that howl meant more than just a warning. You were letting your power be known"
Connecting with thought communication "Rimuru, I wouldn't let anything happen to you or this village. I was just letting them know that if they dare to lay hands on this village they will suffer.'
