Ash and Levert sat next to camp fire for the night "I'll take first watch"
Ash said and he put on his mask
And soft distorted breaths came from the mask and he put on the hood as well
"Dude....there's no point in wearing that mask" Levert said
But Levert just went to sleep leaving ash up and ash spawned his sword just incase and he spawned lumina "keep scouting in the distance for me please"
He asked.
"Ok....but first I need to talk to you.." she said to him
"Ok what do you need?" He asked "the whole monster form you had!"
She said "it was nothing" he dismissed looking back at the dancing flames trying to avoid the conversation "were not gonna leave this subject"
She wasn't letting up.
Ash brushed her off but then he looked at her "I understand..." ash already knew this was something he was gonna have to face it
"But I need to focus I already I know ok I can't lose control like that again"
Ash told her.
Then he looked down to see the ground shaking not enough to startle someone but just enough to notice ash looked for second he slowly kneeled down to touch the floor then the wind pressure changed
Ash used his swings to fly up and get a better look at the area and saw something in the air but it was far and he couldn't see it in the dark.
He did see something itmwas fire like a beam of it
"THATS NOT GOOD!"Ash thought then he flew out the way
Looking down the path he touched the side of his mask activating a heat scanner
"Frick no...." it was a dragon.
"LEVERT WE NEED TO GO!" Ash yelled making Levert spring upwards
"Why!" He asked "DRAGON!!"
Ash yelled as a fire came hurling towards them
So ash flew upwards dodging and Levert jumped out the way.
Ash took Levert hand and flew him upwards
"Just what we need after the reaping,thank you,just thank you"
Ash said outloud in a sarcastic tone
Then the dragon sent fire through out the woods
They were in.
"Yeah we're screwed" Levert said sending ice shards at the dragon
Ash kept dodging the fire balls he kept moving through the trees looking back every once and a while feeling the radiant heat on his body.
Then a huge beam of fire was heading towards them
Ash made the critical decision to drop Levert before dropping on the floors as well getting in between the bushes staying out of sight.
Ash kept a watchful gaze on the dragon
Keeping his breathing steady but he took a moment to glance at Levert who was also hiding in a nearby bush ash took slow steps to another bush beside him glancing back at the dragon every few steps.
The dragons unpredictable movements made it hard to get a clean ambush on if
But they had to try if they wanted to live ash spawned his blade
And took three big breaths before cutting down a tree in front of him chasing a distraction.
Then without a moment to waiste knowing the dragon would catch up to them he he signaled to Levert and Levert stood up and spawned his ice shards and shot the dragons wings "NOW,TIME TO MOVE!"Ash grabbed Levert and they flew away the danger was over....for now.
Aurelia stabbed the monsters chest before turning around
"How close are we?"
Aurelia asked seris looked at her compass
"Well let's just say,we should probably make camp here for the night"
Seris said so noah plopped on the ground exhausted and tired of walking and seris handed Aurelia some water
"I'll take first watch" Aurelia said drinking water seris gave her.
"It's Ok I'll do it" seris said "it's ok....I can handle it"
Aurelia said as seris spawned a campfire and tents
Aurelia looked at the dancing flames
A weird sense of guilt weighted in her chest
She sighed "I should focus on my goal.."
She told herself reluctantly.
Her eyes lids started to feel unusually heavy like someone attached them to a falling boulder she shook her head trying to keep her self up but still no use
Then she fell unconscious As seris stepped out of her tent
"sorry Aurelia but you need to rest" seris whispered
While holding a drug.
Ash landed dropping Levert "we can't stay here for to long or that dragon will find us" ash said chugging down water then he stood up
"If that things what's a fight then it's got another thing coming"
Ash said deciding running was an option
"Woah that was a fast switch up.."
Levert thought.
Then ash cut a tree then cut a peice Of fabric from his clothes and hung the tree but how he did was tied two trees together then tied the tree to the two trees to supports it wait then ash spawned two of his soldiers and his lugger and they hid in the bushes then they put holes in the trees and Levert but ice shards in every one of the trees they put hole in.
Ash then put a bush type web on the trees so now all they had to was wait
And they waited...waited...waited....waited....ash almost fell asleep
Until,ROAR!, ashes ears puckered up as he heard the devastating roar of the dragon.
ARGH! The dragon ran right into the bush then the ice shards came out and shot the dragon the dragon roared in pain as it walked further and the tree ash set up dropped on its head RAHHHH!, the dragon yelled spitting out fire but the moment it did ashes soldiers threw spears in it's mouth as his monster appeared and bit the dragon.
"It's working!" Ash thought happily the dragon couldn't see so it spit out fire hoping for the best until it spun in a circle spitting out fire
And the bush had tiny openings that the dragon could see through as it opened its eyes and the dragon was mad so mad in fact.its eyes were blood red
And ash eyes widened.
"Come on...." the dragon said.
Wait the dragon can speak how and when clearly this wasn't ever a normal dragon and can ash and Levert truly beat it?
