Chapter 5 - Don't touch me

Third-person POV

Noah stepped out of the luxurious washroom, feeling much cleaner after dabbing the wine stains from his pink suit. He walked back over to where he had left the CEO's friend.

"Thank you so much," Noah said politely, offering a gentle smile.

Evan returned the smile, though it didn't reach his cold eyes, and handed over the sleek tote. "No problem at all. Here is your bag."

"Thanks," Noah said, adjusting the strap over his shoulder. "I gotta go find Mr. Reed now. Goodbye."

"Yeah, goodbye," Evan replied smoothly, watching the young Omega walk away.

The moment Noah turned the corner, the polite facade melted from Evan's face. He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and dialed a number. "He is heading upstairs now," Evan muttered darkly into the receiver. "Go. He's all yours."

Noah navigated through the crowded venue, looking around the sprawling mansion for any sign of Diamant's silver hair. But before he could find his boss, his path was suddenly blocked.

A trio of dominant Alphas dressed in sleek, high-end designer suits drifted over to him. Their smiles were polished and handsome, but their underlying tone was incredibly sharp and predatory.

"Reed's new assistant, isn't it?" one of them said, his eyes sweeping over Noah's body like he was appraising stock at an auction. "You're awfully young for this crowd, kid."

"I... I handle his schedules," Noah replied carefully, his inner Omega sensing danger. He forced a polite smile, trying to step around them.

"Schedules," another Alpha echoed with a dry, mocking laugh. "Is that what they're calling it nowadays?"

The third Alpha leaned in closer, invading Noah's personal space. "Tell me, does he make you work overtime, kid? What kind of services are you really providing him?"

Noah felt his heart begin to race. He desperately needed to escape this conversation, but before he could even move, the stolen perfume's effects finally reached their limit. The custom-made scent completely wore off, vanishing into thin air. Noah, consumed by his mounting anxiety, didn't even notice.

Suddenly, a sweet, intoxicating aroma burst into the hallway. Noah's pure, dominant Omega pheromones flooded the air, completely unmasked.

The dominant Alpha who was leaning close froze, his eyes widening as his instincts went wild. "You're... you're an Omega."

The revelation hit the three Alphas like a wave of pure adrenaline. Smelling the rare, irresistible pheromones of a dominant Omega in heat, their civilized manners vanished. They instantly lunged forward, rushing toward him with dark, predatory lust in their eyes.

Terrified, Noah spun on his heel and began to run down the hallway as the three men chased after him like wolves after prey.

"Come to me! I'll make you feel good!" the first one yelled, his heavy footsteps echoing right behind Noah.

"Come handle my 'schedules' too, sweetheart!" the second one shouted, laughing breathlessly.

The third one closed the distance, a wicked smirk on his face. "Come here, cutie! What's the rush? I'm much better than Reed in bed, you know!"

Panic seized Noah's chest. He desperately reached into his moving tote bag, his fingers clawing through his belongings. Where is that damn perfume now?! he thought frantically, tears springing to his eyes. But his fingers found nothing. In his blind panic, his foot caught on the edge of a luxury hallway rug, and he tripped, crashing heavily onto the hard marble floor.

The three dominant Alphas cornered him within seconds, surrounding his fallen form. They laughed loudly, a low, condescending sound that made Noah's stomach twist into painful knots.

"You're mine now, little bitch," one of them growled, stepping closer.

"No, please... please don't touch me!" Noah begged, his voice cracking as he looked down, willing his hands not to shake.

The first Alpha stretched out a large, heavy hand, aiming directly for Noah's face. Noah whimpered, scrambling and crawling backward on his hands and knees to escape the predatory grip. "Please don't! Please don't touch me!"

But just as the man's fingers were about to bruise Noah's skin, a massive, suffocating shadow stretched across the polished marble floor.

Diamant was there.

He didn't raise his voice. He didn't have to. The entire atmosphere of the hallway shifted violently with his arrival, as if gravity itself obeyed his command. His presence was so overwhelmingly dominant that the air turned completely freezing.

"Is there a reason," Diamant said evenly, his dark eyes locking onto the three men, "that you are behaving this way with my employee?"

The three Alphas froze instantly, the blood draining from their faces as they looked at the towering CEO.

"No offense meant, Reed..." one muttered, trembling under the pressure.

"What rubbish," Diamant interrupted, his voice dropping an octave, radiating pure danger. "You still have the audacity to justify yourself after cornering my secretary?"

"Reed, we were just..." another tried to speak, his hands shaking.

"Enough. Shut it," Diamant commanded, cutting them off entirely.

Noah stood frozen against the wall, his heart hammering against his ribs like a trapped bird.

Diamant turned his gaze down to him, his harsh expression softening just a fraction. "Did they touch you?"

Noah shook his head rapidly, a stray tear falling down his cheek. "No, sir. You... you were right on time. If you hadn't come here, I don't know what would have happened to me..." Noah choked out, a soft sob escaping his lips.

"Reed, look, we..." the Alphas tried to plead one last time.

Diamant didn't even look at them. "I'll deal with you later," he said, his tone absolute and icy. "Leave."

It wasn't shouted, but it carried the weight of an unyielding royal decree. It was the kind of command that allowed absolutely no negotiation.

The three men muttered frantic, terrified apologies and quickly slipped away down the corridor, their arrogant laughter completely dead before they even reached the end of the hall.

Diamant's gaze lingered on the empty hallway for a moment longer, his thoughts unreadable beneath the dim lighting. Then, he let out a quiet, heavy sigh and looked down at his trembling secretary. "You shouldn't have been left alone here. Come with me."

He gently helped Noah up and led him away from the suffocating atmosphere of the crowd, moving toward a private, secluded terrace overlooking the city. Out here, away from the roaring noise of the party, the city lights glittered far below like a sea of diamonds. It felt like a quiet, isolated world meant only for two people learning what it meant to trust someone else in a caste system built entirely on ruthless power.

"Thank you," Noah whispered softly, leaning against the balcony railing as the cool night air hit his face.

Diamant didn't answer immediately. He stared out at the horizon, his silver eyes reflecting the distant city lights. But then, almost under his breath, he murmured, "You shouldn't have to thank me for doing what is right."

Inside the grand ballroom, the upbeat music swelled, but it was safely muffled behind the thick glass doors. However, Noah was still visibly shaking, the terrifying trauma of the incident holding his body hostage. Seeing the Omega shivering violently from the delayed shock, Diamant didn't hesitate. He gently lifted Noah up, supporting his weight, and guided him away from the party entirely.

The event was hosted at a luxury high-rise hotel, and Diamant quickly brought Noah up to a private, high-security executive suite. He opened the door and led Noah inside, placing him gently onto the plush bed.

"Rest for now," Diamant said, his voice commanding but surprisingly grounding. "I'll be back in a while."

Noah nodded weakly, pulling the warm blankets around his shoulders as Diamant turned and walked out, closing the door behind him.

The moment the door clicked shut, the calm expression on Diamant's face completely vanished, replaced by a terrifying, murderous rage. He pulled out his phone and made a single call.

A few minutes later, Diamant walked into a dark, secluded underground parking garage beneath the hotel. His personal security team was already waiting for him. Tied to chairs in the center of the concrete room were the three dominant Alphas who had chased Noah.

Diamant walked up to them, his steps echoing loudly in the quiet space. He looked down at them with pure, unadulterated disgust.

"So," Diamant spoke, his voice dangerously calm. "You dared to try and touch Noah with your filthy hands."

The three men looked up, absolute terror written across their faces as they realized who they had truly angered.

Diamant didn't waste a single second. He looked over at his lead guard and gave a cold, effortless order. "Cut them off."

"Mr. Reed! Please! Please don't do this!" one of the Alphas screamed in agony, thrashing against his ropes. "Please have mercy!"

Diamant paused, looking at the crying man with a cynical smirk. "Huh? When Noah pleaded with you not to touch him, did you stop? I guess not."

"Aren't you going way too far for a mere employee?!" another one yelled out desperately, crying as the guards stepped forward with sharp tools.

"Am I?" Diamant smirked darkly, turning his back on them.

Without looking back, Diamant walked out of the garage, the horrific screams of the three Alphas echoing behind him as his men executed the order.

Diamant took the elevator back up to the luxury hotel room, his breathing finally evening out. He adjusted his suit jacket, intending to check on his shaken secretary and see if he needed a doctor. He swiped the keycard and pushed the hotel door open.

But the moment he stepped inside, his breath caught in his throat. To his absolute surprise...
