CHAPTER 12- 3 DAYS AGO
"Why are we at town again!?" Ravi groaned.
"Chill, I'm showing Rina around" Thalia pulled a face.
"Look Nerina if you want us to go back to the wagon we can very much go" Ravi whispered "okay? Okay?"
"Don't worry Ravi, i want to look around"
"You were meant to take my side! I'm so betrayed!" Ravi whined.
today , Thalia wanted to show me around, I suggested bringing Kian with us but Thalia and Ravi told me I don't need to and he's probably having more fun than any of us. I'm worried.
"It's the princess," people gasped. "I heard she's fighting with a bunch of young boys"
"She's so strong I could never defy the rules" "well she is a princess" some people whispered.
It wasn't uncommon to hear people speak about Thalia, I think she is used to it since she doesn't say anything. She just walks carefree. Thalia brought us to an expensive amusement park. It was filled with high classed children and parents. With shiny equipment.
"Let's ride!" Thalia cheered. "Come on you two!!"
"Woah, I thought I could never come here. Only people who are rich are allowed on these rides. It's been my dream as a kid" Ravi gasped.
"Princess Thalia!" the worker screamed as everyone turned to us. "Will you do the honours and ride our fun ride!?"
Ravi bubbled with excitement.
"Of course!" Thalia jumped. "I mean, of course I will, please lend my friends and I to the area" Thalia cleared her throat as the worker pointed to the ride.
This caught the attention of many adults and children. Eventually a whole crowd of people tried to enter in any available seat. Luckily for us the seats could fit two people inside.
"I'm scared!" I trembled.
"It's fun! Just hold tight and relax!!" Thalia comforted.
"This is so exciting!!" Ravi squeaked.
"Hold on tight, relax and have fun!" the worker warned. "Three… two… one..!" the worker started.
The ride started moving. Slowly.
"Hey this isn't that bad" I breathed. But it wasn't. The ride slowly increased in speed. Faster and faster.
"When will this end!!" I screamed.
"Woah!!" Ravi screamed.
"Enjoy yourself Rina!" Thalia said.
"How can I have fun if I'm being pushed from every corner!" I shook.
Thalia and Ravi exchanged glances before squeezing themselves towards me. Their faces squished against mine.
"Just scream and close your eyes!" Ravi cheered.
Are they insane? What if I fall!? "What !? no!"
"Look!" Ravi demonstrated I could feel my heart drop when he released his arms.
With hesitation, I let out a breath, before releasing my hand in the air and closed my eyes tightly. Surprisingly, it was more fun than with my eyes closed. I cheered silently. This was fun!
After the ride was over, many people started calling Thalia to try their rides, games or just talk to her. It was fun because we got these things called discounts and sometimes free rides!
"I missed it!? Come on!" I groaned.
"You two are lame, i can do this better" Ravi cocked.
With this game, a person has to successfully hit every pole with a small rock. We only came here because I wanted to give Kian at least a toy, he loves tigers so that's what I wanted to get, a tiger plushie.
Ravi threw the rock, he calculated every possible way he could knock over the poles. The first rock he threw knocked over three of the poles on the right. The second was on the left and lastly the third one was aimed directly in the middle.
"Come on!" he said nervously.
"I hope it doesn't fall" Thalia stuck out her tongue.
Ravi raged. "It will fall, I calculated it falling" the last pole wobbled slightly.
"Maybe it will," I said encouragingly.
"Why thank you Nerina," he replied.
Unsurprisingly the last pole fell, it just took its sweet time, exactly like how Ravi predicted.
Ravi and Thalia went overboard with their argument and we ended up getting many plushies. Like lots.
"You two and your arguments" I sighed.
It was getting late and everyone was hungry. Ravi decided to go back to the wagon and eat instead of spending more of our money, in case we ran out.
"Hey! It's Thalia's fault! He said I could never win!" thalia pouted
"No it's yours! You said I'd never get a girlfriend if I lost!" Ravi argued back.
