Five Months Later
The seasons had changed.
Green fields surrounded the village again.
A car stopped at the edge of the dusty road.
Mi-un stepped out.
Her hair was longer.
Her eyes looked tired, as if sleep had avoided her for weeks.
With every step toward MK's house, her heart grew heavier.
When she reached the small home, MK's parents welcomed her with a sad smile.
Mother:
> "He wanted you to have this."
She handed Mi-un the diary.
At the Grave
Mi-un walked toward the small grave beneath the old tree.
The sun dipped low, coloring the sky in orange and red.
Her hands trembled as she knelt.
Her tears spilled over as her voice broke:
> "Why… why didn't you tell me?"
She pressed the diary to her chest.
For a long time, she sat quietly as the stars slowly filled the sky.
Finally, she opened the diary.
MK's Final Words (Diary Entry)
> "If you're reading this… it means I'm gone.
Don't cry for me.
I don't regret loving you, even if it was one-sided.
Please stay happy.
Promise me you won't cry too much.
Somewhere, I'll still be smiling,
watching the sunrise with you."
Mi-un's tears blurred the ink —
but a soft smile appeared on her face, as if she could still hear him.
She placed a small flower on the grave, stood up slowly, and looked at the sky.
The first light of dawn appeared.
For a moment, it felt like MK was standing beside her, smiling gently.
> "I'll stay happy," she whispered.
"I promise."
And she walked away —
not leaving him behind,
but taking his memory with her forever.
Closing Scene
The camera rises slowly above the village.
A warm sunrise spreads across the horizon —
quiet, colorful, peaceful —
as if MK's last wish had painted the sky itself.
