"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
"Thora! Thora! Thora!"
The door burst open. Thora stood in the doorway with a worried expression, looking at Saphen.
"What happened?"
"The exam results are out! Cain ranked first in the entire province—the entire province!"
The moment Saphen saw Thora, he cried out excitedly and practically threw himself onto him, cheering nonstop.
Thora was shaken so hard that his head started to spin. He had never expected Saphen to frantically call for him just to tell him this.
But seeing the joy written all over Saphen's face, the corners of Thora's lips unconsciously curved into a smile.
Hah. That kid Cain really is something.
"Where's Cain? We have to celebrate something like this," he said.
Saphen waved his hand. "No rush." He gave Thora a light shove before squeezing past him and heading straight for the television.
In this neighborhood, Thora was the only one who owned a TV. He often watched all kinds of financial news that Saphen could never make sense of.
