Hayasaka Ai spoke to Katou Megumi just before the Almiraj reached them. Kanao, who was already some distance away, saw Hayasaka's determination and silently moved to a position where she could quickly charge in to support them. Her right hand never left her sword hilt.
Ais, hidden in the shadows, also saw the situation. The Almiraj... she had, of course, fought them before. And she seemed to remember... it had taken her a week to even reach the third floor. When she first encountered the Almiraj on the third floor, she was hit frequently and had spent a lot of time getting used to their attack patterns. Now, on only their second day as adventurers, these three had reached the depths of the third floor. Hayasaka Ai and Katou Megumi, in the center of the battle, stood back-to-back. Facing five Almiraj, they couldn't relax for an instant. As monsters born from the dungeon, they were extremely hot-tempered. After less than thirty seconds, they couldn't hold back.

The rabbits made a 'googoo' sound. On the surface, rabbits make this sound when they are angry.
"Megumi, watch out!"
The five Almiraj leaped from the ground one after another, attacking with their hard horns. Hayasaka Ai quickly used her tachi to parry, but the force transmitted from the blade knocked her back two steps. Katou Megumi, holding her short sword, was unfamiliar with melee combat. Katou Megumi used her magic. Her figure instantly vanished from before their eyes.
"Googoo?"
The three Almiraj were also confused. Wasn't there a human standing right there? How did she disappear in the blink of an eye? However, sometimes what you see isn't real. But their brains weren't that sharp. Since that human was gone, they quickly focused their attention on the other one, Hayasaka Ai. The invisible Katou Megumi was still slowly moving behind the rabbits, trying her best not to make a sound. She just needed another thirty seconds to get behind these stupid Almiraj and launch a surprise attack. The three Almiraj's crimson eyes stared intently at Hayasaka Ai. If not for their occasional panting, you'd think they were about to attack at any second. During the standoff, Katou Megumi reached her intended position. Holding her short sword, she slowly approached the nearest Almiraj. Strike fast, or the chance is gone. A flash of white light... the Almiraj standing on the far right of the group instantly collapsed, turning to dust a few seconds later. Seeing this, a victorious smile appeared on Hayasaka Ai's face. It seemed their strength really had increased a lot. They could even team up to deal with five of these small, fast Almiraj.
Ordinary new adventurers wouldn't even come to the third floor, let alone encounter an Almiraj. For adventurers who had only been at it for two days like them, staying on the first floor was more than enough. If they went to the lower floors without a guide, they could lose their lives.
