Ejilah lay down in a soft bed resting in his personal room in the gang hide out. No shirt, a bandage in the crest for a safety reasons, even if the injury was already healed with his energy.
Ejilah turned to see a picture of his father close to him and he threw it to the floor as memories started resurfacing themselves in his head.
Ever since Ejilah found out his father was alive, he had been having sleepless nights, feeling betrayed and confused. The whole supernatural thing, gangs, military, the system. He didn't know what to believe anymore.
He always tries to keep his mind occupied with the whole saving earth and surviving thing, but today was one of the few days that he couldn't help it anymore.
"There always say don't get depressed, like you don't have emotions. ", Ejilah thought as the memories started resurfacing themselves in his head.

(Memories of Ejilah's childhood )
Knock, knock. A sound was heard in the door.
A ten years old version of Ejilah opened the door, this one was looking young, short, properly kept, clean and all that.
The people at the door were military personnel services with an hard look on their faces.
There told him that his father who left home for a war was dead, and there didn't gave him even a cent as conversation to survive.
A ten years old orphan, no parents, no home, no food. How was he supposed to survive?. He cried and cried for his father a lot, but when hunger came he started thinking about himself more, cursing death. Death didn't cared if you were young or old, if you had loved ones or not. It just does it's job without hesitation.
He couldn't pay for his house rent, (note: high school was free for all citizens, so he didn't have to pay. There was nothing like orphanage homes in planet earth ). Ejilah slept on the streets, nobody helped or pity him. Until he met Aron on the road one day, a street thief. There both had two thing in common, poverty, orphan. Aron taught Ejilah how to fight and defend himself to survive and how to steal. With time there became really close friends, more like brothers.
One day the police caught Ejilah and Aron, and arrested them for stealing. And then an unlikely survivor came through for them, rescued and told them that there owned him their life. (He always wears black mask. ).
He taught them how to truly fight and the gang ways and gave them to Sin at a very young age. (The most feared man in the country. ). There were forced to kill and always go into life and death situations.
Ejilah hated the idea of killing someone who did him no harm and someone he hardly even knew.
That was how Ejilah and Aron grew to be the most deadliest, all because of one man who was supposed to dead.
His father.
And now there were Ejilah telling that he was still alive, at there watching Ejilah suffer.
"I hate that man. ", Ejilah said to himself with pain in his voice.
The most painful part of everything was that deep down inside Ejilah knew that he wanted to believe that his father was dead or he had a very important reason for leaving him___ but he had to face the trust, he had to face reality.
Just then somebody started knocking the door interrupting him from his thoughts.
"Come in. ", Ejilah said pretending that everything was alright like he always did.
A middle aged man walked into his room and bowed down his head and said. "Sir, the Mafia just announced an important meeting, you must come now. ".
"What does he wants to talk about. ", Ejilah thought as his mind started going into difference directions.
