Chapter 107 - . Greek God

107. Greek God

ST. LUMINA — END OF DAY

Classes finally ended.

Aiden practically ran out of his last lecture, heart pounding like:

Today. Today I will talk to her properly.

Today I will confess at least 0.1% of my feelings.

He spotted Marcelline near the main gate with her best friend Liz.

They were laughing, talking, waving goodbye to a group of girls.

Aiden slowed down, fixing his hair, straightening his shirt, breathing like a dramatic hero—

Until he froze.

Because someone else arrived.

A sleek black car stopped at the curb.

The atmosphere instantly shifted.

The wind felt like it bowed respectfully.

Girls nearby stopped mid-sentence.

Because Leo stepped out.

Tall. Ethereal. Elegant. A different kind of beauty — one that didn't feel human.

Calm aura, sharp masculine features, divine posture.

It was honestly unfair.

He walked toward Marcelline with the kind of grace that made everyone think:

"Greek gods must be unemployed now."

Marcelline's eyes lit up when she saw him. "Leo!"

She walked to him — openly, freely, happily.

Liz giggled beside her.

"Someone's in a good mood today."

The other girls whispered:

"Who is THAT man?" "He's unreal…" "They look perfect together." "Omg that height difference—" "He looks like her boyfriend?!"

Aiden heard EVERY word.

His soul left his body.

His hands clenched. His jaw tightened. His heart cracked like a cheap biscuit.

"Perfect… together?"

Aiden swayed.

He needed CPR.

---

CHLOE SEES LEO — AND IS DONE FOR--

Chloe came right behind Aiden and followed his line of sight.

The moment she saw Leo, she literally stopped walking.

"Holy—"

She slapped her own face lightly. "Damn. DAMN. Who is THAT? He's like… wow. WOW."

Aiden slowly turned toward her, horrified.

"You too?!"

Chloe didn't even look at him. Her entire soul was staring at Leo.

"He's… he's BEAUTIFUL," she whispered like she was hypnotized. "Like if masculinity and elegance had a baby… That's HIM."

Aiden's eyebrows twitched violently.

"CHLOE."

"And the way he stands… that posture… ugh. I'm blushing—why am I blushing—"

"CHLOE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE!!"

Chloe: "I'm sorry but LOOK at him! I wasn't prepared for THIS. He's—ugh—perfection."

Aiden looked ready to set Leo on fire with his mind.

---

LEO & MARCELLINE — TOO PERFECT --

Leo gently placed his hand above Marcelline's head, shielding her from the sun.

Marcelline smiled up at him.

Every single girl collectively: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww—"

Aiden:

"I can't do this anymore."

Chloe:

"Yeah… I see why the whole campus is in love with him."

Aiden snapped.

"My life is over. My existence is pointless. How do I compete with THAT?? He's like—like—like a walking god!"

Chloe shrugged. "Then level up."

Aiden glared. "I'M HUMAN, CHLOE."

"Well yeah," she said, watching Leo again,

"that's the problem."

Aiden: "…"

---

AIDEN WALKS AWAY — SILENT AND FURIOUS--

Aiden didn't speak another word.

Not because he didn't want to.

Because he couldn't.

If he opened his mouth, he'd cry like a toddler in a grocery store.

He turned sharply and stomped toward the parking lot.

Chloe blinked. "Uh—Aiden?"

He didn't respond.

He just kept walking like an angry little storm cloud.

Chloe hurried behind him. "Okay okay! Stop! I didn't mean it like THAT—"

Aiden:

"Don't talk to me."

Chloe:

"Oh come on—"

Aiden:

"I MEAN IT. Not. A. Word."

Chloe rolled her eyes but followed him reluctantly.

They got into the Brooks family car.

The drive back was SILENT.

Aiden stared out the window like a betrayed prince.

Chloe kept glancing at him, half guilty… half still thinking about Leo.

They reached the Brooks Mansion.

Aiden slammed the door shut and marched inside with the same energy as someone whose heart had been stepped on.

Chloe sighed and followed him.

This day?

Destroyed him.

And he was nowhere near done suffering.
