"It's Jack."
The boy answers to Gun.
Gun doesn't say a word, just pauses.
Then a kick flies.
A Mark Kick.
Jack was hit by it before, so he dodges and punches Gun in the face.
Gun quickly smiles demonically.
Karate.
Jack can't dodge something like that.
Even if Gun isn't known for endurance, the difference in stats is too high.
The attack sends Jack into the wall, probably breaking some of his bones.
But Gun doesn't stop when he's fighting a minor. Another blow hits Jack directly in the face.
But Jack has to survive.
He punches Gun back, even though he's in pain.
But that demon enjoys it — he enjoys every second of the fight.
But what he didn't expect is that Hakju stands up and joins the beatdown.
He uses a spinning kick. Gun takes hit after hit like nothing. Even the strongest moves of Hakju and Jack can't take down that beast.
But even so… they manage to make him bleed.
"Well, it wasn't a lie that you're crew-head level,"
Gun comments on Hakju's attacks.
Gun smirks like a psycho.
Then he casually hits Hakju in the head, knocking him out.
But Jack is still standing.
Gun stops moving for a moment, eyes narrowing just slightly not in anger, but in interest. He tilts his head the way he does when something unexpectedly amuses him.
A slow, entertained smile forms.
He likes survivors.
He likes people who refuse to stay down.
He looks at Jack almost the way a predator looks at prey that bit back.
Gun wouldn't praise him outright, but his voice would carry a hint of excitement:
"Still up? …Good."
Not warm, not encouraging but pleased.

He loosens his shoulders, almost relaxed, and steps toward Jack like he's about to continue a workout rather than a fight.
Then he adds, in that deceptively calm tone:
"Don't fall yet. I'm not done."

And yeah
Gun one-shots Jack a second later.
But something feels wrong… Jack's body is still standing. The wind is getting heavier.
Time holds itself.
It's Ultra Instinct.
In that moment, a huge smile runs across Gun's face.
He's ready to fight someone like him.
