Chapter 52: Chen Chen Dies!
Hearing "screw his head off," Zhao Hu looked like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. His face turned liver-red.
He wanted to run rampant on Chen Chen's reputation; he had never been provoked like this. He rolled up his sleeves, revealing knotted muscles.
"Good kid, refusing a toast only to drink a forfeit!"
The five youths behind him instantly surrounded them, transforming into their Hybrid forms.
They were all standard Carnivorous Zoan Awakened like Zhao Hu. Their bodies swelled to two or three meters, eyes full of ferocity..

Xia Wanqing instinctively gripped her axe to help, but Lin Yan pulled her back.

Simultaneously, he raised his hand. His palm, coated in faint black Armament Haki, slapped the back of the youth's head.

The youth didn't even scream. He fell straight to the ground, twitched twice, and went silent.
The pupils of the remaining five shrank. Their movements paused.
Zhao Hu froze, then raged. "Playing tricks! Get him together!"
The four rushed again. Some attacked high, some swept the legs, claw winds carrying the stench of blood.
Chen Yu still didn't draw his sword. Observation Haki had already captured every attack trajectory.
With shifting footsteps, he weaved through the claw shadows. Every time he raised his hand, someone was hit in a vital spot—bone fractures or instant knockout.
Zoan types, known for defense and physique, were like paper before Chen Yu.
Within ten seconds, five youths lay on the ground.
Only Zhao Hu remained. He was trembling, the cold light on his claws dimming, but he held on. "You... you dare hit Brother Chen's men?"
"Brother Chen won't let you go!"
Chen Yu finally straightened up and walked slowly toward Zhao Hu.
Conqueror's Haki pressed down. The invisible pressure made Zhao Hu's knees buckle, forcing him to kneel.
"I won't let him go either." Chen Yu leaned down and patted Zhao Hu's face.
"Now, take me to him. Or you can lie on the ground too."
Zhao Hu swallowed. Looking at his unconscious subordinates and the coldness in Chen Yu's eyes, he finally crumbled. "I... I'll take you!"
The bystanders were stunned.
Xia Wanqing's mouth was wide open; her axe nearly slipped.
Lin Yan frowned, fingers unconsciously rubbing his cuff. He thought Chen Yu would struggle against the group.
It was a total crush. How was this the strength of a Low Trainee?
Lanjiang Trash?!
Which bastard started that rumor!
"Right." Chen Yu pointed to the Outpost and said to Xia Wanqing, "You guys go in. There are people inside."
Chen Yu ignored their reactions and kicked Zhao Hu. "Move."
Zhao Hu didn't dare delay. He scrambled up and walked into the deep forest without looking back.
Chen Yu followed, Observation Haki spread out, alert.
On the way, Zhao Hu stole a glance back. Seeing Chen Yu's expressionless face, he felt fear and hatred, but dared not make a sound.
Inside, he was cursing, waiting for Chen Chen to torture him.
After walking for about an hour, noise came from ahead.
Passing through a bush, they saw a clearing with over twenty people.
In the center, a silver-white snake with dark patterns was curled up on the ground. Its scales were bloodied; it was clearly injured.
At the back of the crowd, Chen Chen—missing an arm—held a sword glowing with green light, posturing. "Everyone, push harder!"
"This Second Order (Mid) Silver Pattern Snake just broke through. It's weak! Take it down, and our performance will be seen!"
"The Awakened Academy is right before our eyes!"
The surrounding people agreed, looking at Chen Chen with worship.
Chen Yu's gaze fell on the Silver Pattern Snake.

Chen Chen seemed to sense movement and looked back.
He saw the disheveled Zhao Hu, and then... Chen Yu behind him.
The light in his eyes was instantly swallowed by terror. "Zhao Hu! What is this?!"
Zhao Hu ran over, intending to file a complaint. "Brother Chen, he said he wants to..."
But he saw Chen Chen's legs give out. He shrieked in horror, "Why did you bring him here!"
"Get out!! Don't come over here!!"
Zhao Hu froze. "Brother... Brother Chen... you are..."
Scared?
Chen Yu drew Ace. "Yo, isn't this Brother Chen, who soloed a Third Order beast at the cost of an arm?"
"Since you're so strong, how about sparring with me?"
Chen Chen glanced at the cold light on Ace, looking like he'd seen the King of Hell.

Chen Yu kicked him in the knee. "Don't touch me."
Chen Chen fell, but didn't dare get angry. He lifted a face covered in snot and tears, his voice shrill like a strangled chicken.
"I didn't kill that Third Order beast! You cut my arm off, Brother!"
"You already killed me once. Can we call it even?!"
"This Seven Star Sword, I give it to you! As my apology!"
"I'm not pretending anymore! I won't pretend!"
The minions beating the snake in front didn't hear this.
But Zhao Hu heard every word.
Zhao Hu was struck by lightning, frozen in place, his brain buzzing.
"I... I just wanted to put on a show, make Dad value me, make everyone respect me..."
Chen Chen continued to play the victim, pushing all responsibility away. "It was Mom!"
"It was Zhang Li who made me do it! She incited me to kill you! She gave me the Dyna Stone!"
"She said if I killed you, no one would fight me for the heir position!"
"She said as long as I pretended to be strong, I could be the heir!"
"Brother, be the bigger man, spare me this once! I'll never go against you again!"
He tried to crawl forward again but slipped, smashing his face into the dirt and breaking his front teeth.
That wretched appearance held not a shred of the prestige of the Chen Heir or the SS-Class Talent. He looked like a begging stray dog.
Zhao Hu looked at Chen Chen, feeling a chill rush from his soles to his head. His worship and awe shattered into dust.
Chen Chen kept kowtowing to Chen Yu. "Yu-Ge! I'm begging you!"
"I'm kowtowing! Don't kill me! I'll give you all the Chen family assets! I won't be the heir!"
"I give you the position! I give it!"
"I'll explain everything to the Awakened Association!"
Chen Yu pressed Ace against Chen Chen's neck. "Yo, so sincere?"
"Then did you plan to swallow that Dyna Stone in your hand yourself?"
Hearing this, Chen Chen's begging expression froze. The next instant, it turned vicious.
Just as he was about to move, he felt pain in three limbs. All his strength was drained.
Chen Chen looked in horror. His hand and feet were severed. Chen Yu had carved him into a stick.
Blood sprayed, forming a pool.
Just like Chen Yu had lain in the alley.
"AHHHHHHH!!!!"
A second later, Chen Chen's miserable scream echoed.
He writhed in the blood like a dying maggot. Blood gushed from the stumps, staining the soil red.
Black spots filled his vision from the pain, but he stared at Chen Yu, fear replaced by extreme malice.
Bloody foam mixed with spit sprayed from his mouth.
"Chen Yu! You bastard!"
"Your mother Lin Lan was a short-lived ghost!"
His voice was hoarse, like sandpaper.
Every word pulled at the pain of his severed limbs, yet he screamed hysterically. "She shouldn't have stolen my mom, Zhang Li's position back then! She shouldn't have married my dad!"
"Her dying on the battlefield was karma! Even God couldn't stand her!"
Chen Yu stood there, quietly watching him bite like a mad dog.
"Why fight me?!"
"The heir position should be mine! My mom is the rightful mistress!"
"Your mom is just a dead martyr prop!"
"My dad fed you, clothed you, schooled you, and this is how you repay him? You ungrateful white-eyed wolf!"
Gasping for air, body convulsing, he refused to stop, picking the words that would hurt Chen Yu most. "Your mom deserved to die!"
"If she didn't die, could you enter the Chen family? You're just living off a dead person's glory!"
"Now you dare rob me! Cut off my limbs! You won't die well! You'll be like your mom, eaten by beasts without a whole corpse left!"
"My mom said it! You're a calamity star! You killed your mom and now you want to kill the Chen family!"
Chen Chen's eyes were bloodshot. "If not for you, I'd be the heir already!"
"The High-Grade Awakening Chamber slot was mine! My dad's love was mine! You are nothing! You're trash living on a dead name! Pretending to be tough now! If you're so capable, make your mom come alive!"
He got crazier, trying to crawl forward, leaving a twisted blood trail.
"Chen Yu! I won't let you go even as a ghost! The Chen family will avenge me! They'll make you die without a burial place like your short-lived mom! You took everything, I want you to pay it back double!"
Chen Yu revealed a cruel smile. "That's it. That's the life-or-death hostility I like!"
"This is the real you. Begging is so boring."
Chen Yu picked up the Dyna Stone, pocketed it, looked at the Seven Star Sword with disgust, and returned to Chen Chen.
"Your life ends here."
He stabbed Ace into Chen Chen's chest, meeting that gaze full of malice. "But don't worry. That whole family will come to keep you company soon."
Zzzt—Zzzt!
As the words fell, blinding lightning blasted Chen Chen's corpse into charcoal.
Then, Demolition Gust sliced it into ash.
Chen Yu rubbed his chin, feeling it wasn't enough. So he repeated the operation on the spot.
Five times.
"Phew..." Chen Yu picked his ear. "Finally quiet."
The premonition from Observation Haki was too strong. Chen Yu didn't want to stay.
While the Surveillance Snail was still jammed, ignoring Zhao Hu and the crowd beating the snake, he quickly left.
As Chen Yu passed, Zhao Hu was so scared his legs gave out, and he collapsed.
Just then.
The green longsword Chen Chen dropped suddenly emitted a faint glow. The seven-star pattern on the hilt lit up.
Zhao Hu's gaze was attracted to the sword. His eyes gradually became obsessed.
Chen Chen was dead. Chen Yu didn't take the sword.
So, it was ownerless!
Remembering the scene of Chen Chen using the Seven Star Sword, a fire burned in his heart.
This is power!!
He slowly crawled over and reached out to grab the Seven Star Sword.

SMALL TIME JUMP.
Chapter is leading toward why Loki killed Harald (not this chapter but leading towards it.)
Overall chapter is 8/10. Good build up, thats all.
We get more scenes from Loki in the underworld in Elbaph.
By underworld I mean the Forest where Luffy and Loki are, or where Loki's mother threw him.
We finally get context on how the summoning circle appeared in the royal palace.
IDA is done. Loki is very angry.
We get narrator talk explaining how Imu's plan worked and everything fall into place.
Loki is very angry at Harald for everything thats happened. Also the real flashback begins now.
On a sidenote, Shanks disappeared from Mariejois, he ran away.
BRIEF SUMMARY
~CHAPTER 1168: "ELBAPH'S SNOW'.
-IDA DIED IN A SNOWY DAY. HARALD AND HAJRUDIN CRIED FOR HER AND LOK! SUFFERED IN SILENCED WHILE HE WAS PRISONED.
-14 YEARS AGO, SHANKS WAS SUPPOSED TO GET THE DEEP SEA PACT BUT HE DIDNT APPEAR, INSTEAD THEY DECIDED HARALD WILL BE PROMOTED FOR DEEP SEA PACT AND BECAME A KNIGHT OF GOD.
-HARALD GAINED MORE POWER AND IMMORTALITY. IMU ORDERED HARALD TO CREATE THE ABYSS CIRCLE IN ELBAPH.
-AFTERWARDS, IMU ORDERED HIM TO CREATE A GIANT ARMY FOR THE GOVERNMENT.
~CHAPTER ENDS WITH LOKI AND JARUL ARRIVING TO THE CASTLE.

The Gorosei introduce Harald to Imu. Imu gives Harald the Deep Sea Pact.
Which makes Harald (in his own words) stronger and, according to Imu, immortal.
Imu then orders Harald to transform his nation into a military power, one as strong as the navy.
Either Harald was defeated by Gaban+Shanks+Loki or he simply let Loki kill him.
No way that this powered up Harald lost alone to rookie Loki who didn't had ragnir+his df, alone.
Because he made the Deep Sea Pact with Imu, Harald is powerless and is being used by Imu (Imu controls him).
Harald ordered his men to tie him to a pillar for restraint.
He then called Jarul and Loki to the castle for an urgent meeting(probably to stop him).
