Xie Fang's eyes contracted; he was left speechless by what was in front of him. For a moment he paused and:
"HAhaha..." he laughed. Xie Fang was laughing so hard; it was not because of anything else, but Xiao Ba's form...
Xie Fang had imagined Xiao Ba's form to be that of a mighty dragon, or a venomous snake, or some other divine being, but this... This was something he couldn't have imagined even in his sleep.
"What are you laughing about?" a red and black raccoon asked. Xiao ba was confused as to why Xie Fang was laughing so violently so suddenly.
Xie Fang laughed for a few more seconds before stopping. He knew he was done for if Xiao ba found out why he was laughing. He quickly thought and said, "Nothing, I was just imagining Li Chang in a maid's dress."
Somewhere else:
Li Chang was eating his lunch when suddenly he Sneezed. 'Who is cursing me?' he thought. Li Chang shook his head and continued eating his lunch.
. . . .
Xiao ba was doubtful but choose to ignore it. He started to think that something was wrong with Xie Fang's head.
Xie Fang saw Xiao ba in deep thought; afraid of being found out, he quickly opened his mouth to divert his attention. "Xiao ba, since you can turn into a cat, a blue ball of light, and a raccoon. . . Can you turn into something else?"
Xiao ba was thinking about how to make Xie Fang normal when he heard this. He said in an arrogant voice, "Of course! I can turn into anything I want, even if it's stone."
"Wow! Then can you turn into a handsome man? One that is more handsome than Li Chang?" Xie Fang asked with shiny eyes and an expression that didn't look to be up to any good.
At first Xie Fang just wanted to divert Xiao Ba's attention, but now he had some other motive.
The red raccoon became suspicious. "Why do you want me to turn into a human, and a handsome one at that?"
Xie Fang told everything that happened between him and Li Chang. About how coldly Li Chang treated him and how he told him that he will find a more handsome person to become his friend. He even cursed Li Chang a few times in this process.
After letting out his anger, Xie Fang felt better, but the red raccoon seemed to have entered a shocked state.
The red raccoon's sharp intitutions were screaming at him to reject it. Xiao ba once again sighs at how unlucky he is to get bonded with this lunatic host.
Thinking of how Xie Fang wants to use him for his selfish desires, anger flared up inside Xiao ba.
"Do you think I'm some kind of cheap piece of art that you can use to show off in front of others?" Xiao ba roared.
"If you ask me to do such a stupid thing again, I'll make you disappear from this whole universe!"
Xie Fang fell on his knees; he knew he had gone overboard. 'I'm done for today.' Xie Fang thought as his vision blurred.
Xie Fang thought it was because of Xiao Ba's power; he felt kind of regretful for not being able to see Li Chang's handsome face one last time before his death.
*Bang!*
Suddenly Xie Fang fell on the ground. Xiao ba, who was standing not far from him, was startled. He thought he mistakenly killed his host.
'Shit!' Xiao ba ran close to Xie Fang with his tiny legs. He checked Xie Fang and breathed a sigh of relief. Xie Fang was breathing, just unconscious.
Xiao ba patted Xie Fang's face to wake him up, but it was of no use. Xiao ba became worried, 'He has a fever.' Xiao ba used his power on Xie Fang, but his power didn't work at all.
'How is this possible?' Xiao ba was shocked. This was the first time that his powers didn't work on someone. He looked at Xie Fang with the deep black raccoon eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, but no one gave him an answer; there was silence in the room.
Xiao ba had a lot of questions about this weak chicken, but there was no one to give him an answer. 'Forget it. I'll look into it after unlocking all my powers.'
*Bang*
A passing-by maid heard the sound of something breaking from Xie Fang's room. She went in front of the door and called Xie Fang a few times; after not getting any reply, the maid hurriedly went to the butler to report.
The maid ran to where the butler was and called him, "Mr. Shu, the sound of something breaking came from Young Master's bedroom. I called him a few times, but no one answered." The maid said while taking a long, deep breath.
Butler Shu turned serious hearing her words. He ordered the maid to call a doctor immediately. The maid nodded and quickly ran to make a call.
"Call the Master and Madam, and tell them about what happened." The butler told the other maid by his side while running. The butler and other servants were doing what they were ordered calmly.
This was the first time something like this happened. At first all were worried sick and didn't know what to do, but as this happened more frequently, they became calm and were able to think rationally.
The butler unlocked Xie Fang's bedroom door and saw Xie Fang lying on the cold, hard ground with the broken vessel an inch away from him.
Butler Shu quickly ran and picked up Xie Fang, who was lying on the ground, with the help of other servants.
Xiao ba was watching all this from the side with no expression. After finding out his magic doesn't work on Xie Fang, he had pushed down the vessel to attract the maid's attention.
He can only hope that it's not serious, or the intruder will win by sucking yet another person's luck value. Xiao ba turned into a Pomeranian and came out from behind the sofa.
No one paid attention to the 'Pomeranian' which suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The Pomeranian (Red Raccoon) climbed up the bed Xie Fang was lying on and lay down beside him.
Butler Shi and other servants thought the 'Pomeranian' was worried about it's master, so they let it stay there. Who would tell them that the Pomeranian is not worried about its master; it just wants to sleep.
After about five minutes, Mrs. Xie came running to Xie Fang's bedroom. She had a worried look on her face and looked disheveled.
"Ah Fang," she cried out as she rushed towards her sick son. Butler Shi repeated everything that happened again to Mrs. Xie. "We have already called the doctor. He will be here at any time soon." Butler Shi said to make her less worried.
At the same time, Li Chang and two other people arrived at the entrance of Xie Mansion.
