Chapter 18 - 18

Scene 1: The Calm Before the Explosion

The air inside Blue Look Stadium felt heavy.

A heavy silence hung over the artificial turf, as if the ball itself hesitated to move before Asaf Shinji touched it.

Isagi stood beside Asaf, staring ahead, his breath quickening, sweat dripping from his brow as if he were about to explode.

He said in a low voice,

"Shinji… you have the ball. Now the moment is all yours."

Asaf slowly raised his head.

The scene before him was a war tableau: three players lined up like a black wall blocking out the light:

Pato… Rindo… Okuna…

All three looked at him with the gaze of wolves who had found their prey.

But the prey was smiling.

Asaf planted his foot on the ball, and that strange gleam appeared in his eyes…

The gleam that hadn't been there moments before, the gleam of possession.

The system flashed a small window, like a pulse of light:

> [Situation Analysis: Triple Press]

[Suggestion: Exploit the left angle – 37°]

[Probability of Success: 61% → Increases with the First Touch skill]

Asaf hesitated for a second.

Not out of fear.

But out of pleasure…

The pleasure of knowing he would dominate.

He closed the window mentally and said quietly,

– "I won't use you now… I'll handle this my way."

The system remained silent… as if respecting him.

---

Scene 2: The First Attack Explodes

An inaudible whistle blew in Asaf's mind.

Not from the referee…

But from something inside his chest saying:

Run.

He sprinted to the right, initially at a slow pace, a calculated step, another step slower than the opponents expected.

Pato shouted:

– "Cut him off!!!"

The other two players rushed towards him.

But before they arrived, Asaf did something none of them had ever seen.

He touched the ball with the inside of his foot, a very brief flick.

A barely visible touch… but its impact was devastating.

The ball rolled half a meter… just half a meter…

But that half meter completely reshaped the course of the game.

Pato expected to run fast, but he paused for a split second to recalculate.

That split second… was all Asaf needed.

Asaf glanced at Isagi, then thought to himself,

"Now it's your turn… but I'll start."

Some of the players said aloud,

"What is this madman doing?!"

But only one understood.

Pachira.

The only madman who could see beyond the roof.

Pachira smiled and said,

"He's dancing… this guy is dancing with the ball."

Asaf moved again.

This time at inconsistent speeds.

Sometimes fast… sometimes slow… sometimes erratic.

This kind of running is unpredictable.

Even the system itself said:

> [Movement is random – unpredictable (0% readability)]

Asaf chuckled inwardly.

---

Scene 3: The Midfield Battle

The opponents were fed up.

Okuna yelled:

"Enough childish games! Come on!"

He threw himself at Asaf, his hand almost touching his shoulder.

But before he could reach him, Asaf made a move no one expected.

A double touch:

A small touch of the ball on top with the instep → followed by a backheel flick.

The ball flew half a meter up and landed right behind Asaf's feet.

One step back… A catching with uncanny skill…

Then a complete spin around Okuna.

It was as if Okuna had been frozen.

Like a helpless statue in the middle of a blazing field.

One of the players yelled:

"What?!"

Isagi felt a shiver run down his spine.

He hadn't expected this level of skill.

He hadn't expected Asaf to be hiding all this.

The system displayed a new window:

> [Principle 3 – Possession: 70% Effective]

[Ball Stability Under Pressure: 92%]

Asaf felt something akin to euphoria.

Something like possession.

---

Scene 4: System Real-Time Analysis

The entire field was before him.

Every player moved in a different direction.

He saw every move a second before it happened.

The system began drawing lines across the field, green, blue, and red lines.

But Asaf didn't look at them… He saw something more clearly.

He saw the players' intentions.

He saw Batu's intention… A simple intention: Crush him.

Asaf smiled and said,

– "Okay… try."

Batu was charging at him like a raging bull.

But Asaf nutmegged the ball…

Slowly.

The slowness that kills pride.

The virtual audience (the cameras) screamed.

Issage put his hand to his head.

Connie gasped:

"What did he just do?!"

Pato stopped.

His jaw twitched.

He glanced back at Asaf, who was walking away like he was strolling through a park.

Asaf said:

"Don't run like a highwayman… Play football."

That was a slap without a hand.

---

Scene 5: The Breakthrough Pass

After skillfully dismantling the opponent's defense, Asaf looked up.

Issage found himself perfectly positioned, between two lines of defense, with a tiny opening, a half-second gap.

The system popped up a window:

> [Killer Pass Opportunity: Available]

[Goal Probability: 78%]

Asaf didn't read the percentage.

He felt it.

He stamped his foot.

He lifted his leg. He sends a ball that isn't powerful…

But precise.

It drops between the lines of defense.

It goes over Rendo's foot.

It swerves slightly forward…

As if searching for Isagi.

Isagi shouts:

"Yyyyy!!"

He receives the ball with a single turn.

He shoots.

The ball explodes into the net.

2-1.

For Asaf's team.

Isagi runs towards Asaf and shouts:

"You're insane!"

"And now you're a top scorer."

Asaf says with a calm smile.

---

Scene 6: The Shock in the Control Room

In the control room…

The three coaches stand speechless.

Ego (the boss) approaches the monitor and says:

"This… isn't a natural progression."

One of the coaches says:

"No… this is an explosion. A player like this could change the whole project."

The other added:

– "He might reach a level we haven't even planned for yet…"

Ego wiped his glasses and said:

– "Keep an eye on him… This player is dangerous."

---

Scene 7: The End of the Attack and the Beginning of Domination

Assaf didn't feel tired.

On the contrary… he felt like he was waking up for the first time.

The system's voice sounded different:

> [Congratulations: You did it without relying on us…]

[…We will increase the system's integration with your body]

[Activate: Increase touch sensitivity +5%]

Assaf said:

– "This is just… the beginning."

And he took the ball under his foot again.

And the opponents… froze for a moment, afraid he would repeat what he had done.

But that… was only half the story.

---

Scene 8: The Second Domination – Dancing Above the Lines

After the goal, everyone expected Assaf to settle down.

But Assaf didn't come to Blue Look to settle down.

He wanted to dominate.

To prove that he is not a player
