As our heroes talk in the inn, Baron Cobblepotte strokes his Femboy that is sitting on his lap as it purrs.
A purr here, a purr there.
Baron Cobblepotte enjoys his femboy's purrs. The purrs are music to his ears, The Symbol of peace, The Sound of Peace, They heal his Broken heart, The heart that was broken by his wife as he once fell into debt and the dishonor of awakening the element of paper. That's right, Paper. There's a paper element.
Not many nobles awaken their elements in the rite of passage. But when they do, That's when their prestige rises. Why? For War. Nobles are not just some lame politicians, They send their kin off to war. Or... Military if there is no war.
Well, That's enough lore. Back to the Baron.
Baron Cob, As we will refer to him from now on, Strokes his femboy's chin while doing paperwork...
"I hate paperwork..." He complains, Rubbing his eyes. Hearing this, His Femboy, Fel, Leans toward him and nuzzles close to him, Comforting him.
"Thank you..." He mutters, Smiling as he too leans toward Fel, and Fel Purrs. Why purr? Because Fel is a Half-Beast, Precisely, a Half-Cad. Cad, Is what the people of Magius refer to cats in this world.
Continuing, As Baron Cob does his usual paper work, Complaints, Business permits, fights, people getting jumped, Gang fighting, Bandit sightings... Ingenium may be the Capital, but it's not safe from the usual trouble.
'So much work... Ugh...'
[Knock knock knock] knocks suddenly come from the door, Startling Fel.
"Baron Cobblepotte, Knight Captain Aaron Smith, Reporting!" A voice comes from the other side. Baron Cob Pats Fel's Head, Calming him down.
"Come in." Baron Cob responds, Watching the door open, Revealing Aaron, The Knight Captain of 8th Division of the Ingenium Knights. Also an Ace Knight.
"Baron Cobblepotte." Aaron bows with a fist to his heart, and in reciprocation, The Baron nods.
"Report." The Baron Orders. "
Yes! Apprentice Knight Atreus Barton has Reportedly Encountered Ace Wizard Cael Salore of Core Minx! Along with two beggars, Cael Salore entered Inn Meister's Magnum Opus and seem to be discussing something!" The Knight Captain Reports.
"Haaah...." Baron Cob pinches his nose bridge, Sighs in Exhaustion, and leans back on his chair. "Lord Mikhail... Why me..." He complains yet again, And with a sharp sigh, He straightens up, Thinking...
'Core minx, Huh... To think that that Notorious Organization would lay their hands on Ingenium... We're gonna be in deep trouble....' He thinks to himself, "Fel," He calls out to his Femboy, "Yes!" Fel perks up, Looking at Baron Cob with Eagerness to work. "Get me file Compilation #298, T8 Library #2." He orders calmly, smiling at Fel's Diligence.
"Sir! Yes, Sir!" Fel responds, Saluting, He leaves and Dashes off to get the Files with an Unbelievably stern expression with that adorable face.
Baron Cob sighs and snaps his fingers, Making four papers float with 2 turning his hair and the other 2 opening the bigger window.
The sun rays hit his face, giving him a comforting and relaxed feeling. He sighs. "You're dismissed." He waves off the Knight Captain with the back of his hand.
'I'm just a baron, Why am i the substitute for the count?' He thinks to himself.
(Kinda sounds like an anime title...)

So yeah, There's the new chapter, Sorry for being late(Again), There were some technical issues with my laptop, but i got around it. Anyways, If things go as planned, I might publish another chapter tomorrow, but, who knows?
