Chapter 4 - the gate and the key

A gate manifested suddenly from somewhere in the witland, and many crows began to cry around it.

When the sorcerer learned of this, he went near the gate. Seeing the gate, he was stunned. That gate reached up to the heavens.

The sorcerer wanted to destroy it.

He attacked without pause.

each one so powerful that the entire lower dimension felt the tremors of his attacks.

But even after so many attempts, the gate was not destroyed.

"The gate was simply invinsible."

Exhausted, when he set out to return to his palace, he died on the road halfway through. However, there was no physical harm.

"His eyes went dull and milky, all color lost to a sudden, the 'pearl' of his eyes had turned white, and his life was gone in a moment.

Everyone saw this horrific sight, and that day became known in history as "The first day of the dark century."

On the 8045th day of the Dark Century,

a farmer was cultivating his land on an island named Broadland when he found a red, shining stone.

Upon closer inspection of the stone, he saw that it held a golden-brown colored key. When the farmer touched the stone, its light gradually began to increase.

Within three days, the stone reached the king of the country from the farmer. The king was quite fond of it.

Simultaneously, Lekhaam's search led him directly to the king's court.

However, the king was not afraid of the epidemic because it was still quite far from Broadland, and people regarded the entire story as a myth.

The king refused Lekhaam.

You fail to grasp the gravity of this situation," Lekhaam warned.

You cannot comprehend the sheer scale of this calamity.

Just as Lekhaam was turning to depart, having delivered his warning, the king issued a sharp command to his soldiers:"

"Don't let this cunning old man go."

The soldiers surrounded him from all sides.

A warrior attacked him with his spear.

Lekhaam chanted his spell

As soon as the sorcerer said, "Repel," a bright, shining Blue force field appeared around Lekhaam.

"The warrior struck the powerful field with his spear, but the barrier held fast.

When all the soldiers attempted to breach it, the field violently burst, expanding outward and hurling them all rearward."

And, expanding, it repelled all those soldiers and they all fell down.

This display of power left, onlookers speechless,Sweat beaded instantly on the King's brow.

It was then that Lekhaam spoke,

Now, will you grant me the key required to save your world?"

Lekhaam and the King stared intensely into each other's eyes.

Though fury burned in the King's heart, he knew physical might was useless against the sorcerer.

Begrudgingly and Grudgingly, and with a heavy heart, He pushed past his immense pride and bitterly yielded the stone.

When the sorcerer met Virat, he explained that the key was unbreakable.

Lekhaam told Virat that it could not be broken by any physical or magical power. Undeterred, the sorcerer placed the stone upon the ground and chanted an incantation.

An invisible, yet incredibly dangerous and immense pressure bore down upon the stone.

The force was so great that the surrounding ground was utterly destroyed, yet the stone remained untouched—not even a scratch."

"Next, Lekhaam picked up the stone, tossed it high into the air, and a fierce bolt of lightning struck it from the sky. The entire environment crackled and became supercharged, yet when the stone fell back to the ground, it was completely unscathed.

Witnessing this, Virat was astonished and asked, 'Why exactly do you need this key?

'It is a necessity,' he responded.

We must possess this key, without it, opening the door will simply not be possible.

"But how can we break a key that is virtually unbreakable?" said Virat.

"There is one path," Lekhaam asserted.

"What is it?"

"Since this key is unbreakable, we must seek the help of the strongest force in this universe to shatter it." he stated.

"And what is that force?" asked Virat.

Taking a deep breath, he said, "Follow me, and I will show you."

After ascending a great mountain, the sorcerer held his hand out and chanted an mantra.

The black-beaded mala in his hand began to rattle, and a portal started to open.

Nothing was visible inside the portal, only an intense, crimson light radiating out of it.

The surrounding atmosphere pulsed with a blinding mix of red and blue light from the portal's fierce glow.

"Seriously, we climbed this whole mountain? Why couldn't you have opened this portal down below?"

I mean,"We could have opened the portal down there, right?"

NO,

"I didn't open any portal," Lekhaam replied.

"There was already a portal present here; I merely enlarged it."

Is that the case ,he said restlessly.

"Looking at this... my heart is starting to race," Virat admitted.

"Fear not, Virat!" he said loudly.

Lekhaam slowly looked towards the portal and murmured, "You still have so much to endure."

"Have no fear, Warrior. I hold the answer to every single one of your doubts."

Stepping through the portal, 'Follow me',

He commanded.

"And Virat did just that.".

When the portal opened, it led directly into a massive graveyard shrouded in night.

The sky was a deep, ominous blend of black and crimson red.

A sense of gloom and despair hung heavy everywhere. The scene was so utterly alien that Virat had to ask, "What world is this?"

The sorcerer smiled faintly and replied, "Virat, this is your world, hurtling toward its end."

"We are on the other side of the world, Virat," the sorcerer added.

"When Virat strained his eyes to look into the distance, he spotted the grave."

"It was the only grave in the cemetery, and it certainly didn't look small from where they stood."

Lekhaam led him to a grave that was adorned with several weapons, including a massive staff taller than Virat himself.

"What is this?" Virat asked in astonishment.

"It is a grave," the sorcerer stated.

"That much is obvious, but whose?"

The sorcerer brushed the dust off a name carved onto the tombstone.

THE GREAT GRAND SORCERER SHAHANSHAHA

"Sha-an-shaaahh..." Virat sounded out, struggling to read the name.

"Who was he?" Virat asked.

"He was the most powerful being this world has ever known," Lekhaam replied.

Virat looked again at the massive scale of tomb.

"Directly above his tomb hung a crimson moon, casting a faint, red light. The area immediately surrounding the grave was even deeper shades of red."

Lekhaam then began collecting the reddish-brown dust suspended in the atmosphere.

The particles swirled, molding themselves first into the form of a pickaxe and a shovel. As he finished his incantation, solid iron versions of the tools instantly replaced the dust shapes.

He looked at Virat with a smile and said, "Get started."

The sorcerer conjured a chair for himself and sat down.

As Virat was digging the grave, he muttered a complaint: "If everything can be done with magic, then why can't the grave be dug with magic too?"

The sorcerer overheard him and replied, "If I use magic, I might damage his bones."

"And why do we need his bones?" Virat asked.

"Understand this now," the sorcerer stated, "his bones are the only thing that can save this world."

Then lekhaam fall asleep.

In just half an hour, he had dug a hole six feet deep, but there was still no sign of the coffin.

A little while later, the pickaxe struck something solid, and the sorcerer instantly opened his eyes.

"Step away!" the sorcerer yelled immediately.

Using his magic, he levitated the earth above the grave and pulled the coffin out, sending it soaring through the air.

Once they had gathered the bones from within the coffin, the two men left the graveyard."

"A crow perched on the tomb, "His gaze was utterly vacant.

Those white eyes watched them go intently."

The two of them reached a cave.

The sorcerer conjured a furnace with his magic and placed the bones into a large cauldron of boiling water.

"What are you doing?" Virat asked.

"I am preparing weapon for you," the sorcerer replied.

(You found it, but it was an incomplete, Discovery")
