Chapter 113 - Chapter 113

"Hmm!"

"Roar—! Roar—!"

Facing the Two-Tails and the Eight-Tails of Kumogakure, even the shockwaves produced by their roars alone were enough to overwhelm ordinary shinobi.

Boom—! Rumble! Rumble!

Every movement carried devastating force. Each step, each breath, shook the battlefield itself.

There was a reason tailed beasts were called the ultimate weapons of war.

"That thing… is a monster."

By now, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru had already arrived before Nii Yugito and Killer B.

Jiraiya glanced at the two beside him, then suddenly burst out laughing.

"Now that I think about it—when was the last time the three of us fought together?"

Ever since their battle against Hanzo of the Salamander in the Land of Rain, the Legendary Sannin of Konoha had almost never joined forces again.

"Shut up."

"Idiot."

Jiraiya's enthusiasm was immediately met with cold responses from Tsunade and Orochimaru.

"…."

If he didn't know them better, Jiraiya might have thought they were deliberately picking on him.

The brief exchange ended there.

The three moved simultaneously.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three thick clouds of smoke erupted across the battlefield.

Toad Bunta. Katsuyu. Manda.

The three great summoning beasts appeared at the same time.

"Orochimaru," Manda hissed coldly, "didn't I tell you not to summon me unless it's important? This time, I want five hundred sacrifices."

Among the three summons, Manda was the most difficult to deal with.

Whether strength or temperament, arrogance flowed through every word.

"I was wondering why I felt disgusted today," Toad Bunta said bluntly, exhaling smoke from his pipe. "Turns out I had to see your ugly face again, you filthy snake."

The relationship between Bunta and Manda had never been good.

Whenever they met, arguments were inevitable.

"What did you say, you stinking toad?" Manda snarled. "You looking to die?"

"I'd like to see who dies first."

Neither backed down.

In the end, Katsuyu spoke calmly, her gentle voice cutting through the tension.

"Enough. This is the battlefield. Please focus on the enemy first."

Boom!

Though still displeased, Bunta and Manda stopped arguing and began observing the situation.

But when they noticed the raging Two-Tails and Eight-Tails, both froze.

"…Jiraiya," Bunta muttered, eyes wide. "Do you think that highly of me?"

"Having me fight tailed beasts… that's quite the compliment."

Even the weakest tailed beast wasn't something Bunta believed he could handle—let alone two of them at once.

"Uh—"

Standing atop Bunta's head, Jiraiya scratched his cheek awkwardly.

Manda, meanwhile, was far more direct.

"Orochimaru, you bastard. I don't care—after this is over, you owe me a thousand sacrifices."

"Assuming you survive," Orochimaru replied calmly, his expression unchanged.

This kind of transaction wasn't new. He was already used to it.

"Tch."

Manda said nothing more, shifting his massive body toward the Two-Tails and Eight-Tails alongside Bunta and Katsuyu.

"Let's go together!" Bunta roared.

"Oil Flame Bullet!"

Jiraiya struck first.

Toad oil combined with Fire Release exploded forward, engulfing the battlefield.

Tsunade and Orochimaru didn't hesitate either, coordinating their movements as they charged the tailed beasts head-on.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, combat raged just as fiercely.

Minato Namikaze once again faced an old opponent—

The future Fourth Raikage, A.

"So it's you, Minato," A said, lightning crackling around him. "Your strength is impressive. I acknowledge that."

After years of battle, even he could no longer clearly determine who was superior.

"This is atonement," Minato replied coldly.

There was none of the warm, sunlike gentleness he once carried.

Being branded a traitor of Konoha had changed him deeply.

At the same time, the Third Raikage tore through the battlefield like a living calamity.

Nara Shikaku, Yamanaka Inoichi, and Akimichi Choza worked together to restrain him but even the legendary Ino–Shika–Cho formation struggled.

"Damn it!" Shikaku cursed. "Shadow Possession is completely useless!"

The Third Raikage's speed was overwhelming.

Even when the shadow connected, his monstrous physique allowed him to break free with brute force alone.

"Don't look at me," Inoichi said bitterly. "Mind Body Switch won't work either."

Against someone this powerful, the Yamanaka clan's secret techniques were ineffective.

They could only rely on Choza's Expansion Jutsu to slow him down—barely.

"Hahaha!" the Third Raikage laughed loudly. "So this is the famous Ino–Shika–Cho? That's all?"

Shikaku clenched his teeth.

At that moment, he truly understood—

Before absolute power, any scheme was fragile.

No matter how sharp his mind was, there was nothing he could do.

"…If only Lord Shiki were here," Shikaku muttered.

The thought stirred deep nostalgia.

Back then, they never worried about how strong the enemy was.

Because Shiki was always stronger.

Boom!

The Third Raikage heard him clearly.

Though he acknowledged Shiki's strength in his heart, pride wouldn't allow him to show it.

"Even if that Golden Lion were here," he said arrogantly, "I've grown stronger through training. If we met again, I wouldn't lose!"

It was his last shred of stubborn pride.

Just as Shikaku was about to respond—

A familiar, indifferent voice echoed across the entire battlefield.

"Is that so?"

"…What?"

The Third Raikage froze mid-motion, eyes widening in disbelief.

"Shiki?!"

Tsunade stopped as well, her face lighting up as she turned toward the source.

High in the air, Shiki was approaching at tremendous speed.

Their eyes met.

He smiled at her.

Then, raising one hand, he aimed toward the Two-Tails and Eight-Tails below.

"Planetary Devastation."

BOOM—! BANG—!
