Voight's operative arrived at the Vale property car park at two in the morning.
He had a device and a plan and the particular calm of someone who had done this kind of thing before. The device was small and magnetic and would attach under the wheel well in under thirty seconds and would do what it was designed to do at a specific moment the following morning.
He reached the first car.
