"I will spend the rest of my life atoning, just spare my life for this time!"
"You will do anything?" the lady asked.
"I will do ANYTHING!!", i started slapping my own face.
The maid stared at me like I had grown two heads.
Honestly… even I wouldn't blame her for thinking I was insane.
The lady smirked.
For a second, I thought she would order the maid to kill me.
Instead, she said:
"Tie her up."
"WHAT?!" I shrieked.
The maid lunged faster than I could blink.
"Do not move, little troublemaker," the lady warned, her smile growing. "You're coming with us."
"No I'm NOT!! I- W-WAIT- DON'T TOUCH ME-!!"
But it was already too late.
My arms were grabbed.
My legs were bound.
And I was dragged out of my own tiny house like a stolen sack of rice.
"LET ME GO!!!" I screamed.
The lady only laughed.
"Where are you taking me? Let me down!!". I can't believe this is happening to me!
I yelled, kicking wildly as they carried me out.
They didn't answer me.
They didn't even look at me.
The maid threw a black cloth over my head, blocking the sunlight.
"Hey—HEY! I can't see anything!" I yelled, struggling uselessly.
"Good," the lady said. Her voice was calm, almost amused. "You have seen enough for today."
I felt myself being lifted—one on each side—then carried out of the village.
"Where are you taking me?" I shouted.
The lady sighed as if I were a noisy pet.
"Stop shouting. You're embarrassing yourself."
"EMBARRASS—?! YOU'RE KIDNAPPING ME!!"
The maid tightened her grip.
"Count yourself lucky. Normally, people who see what you saw don't get carried anywhere alive."
I froze.
