A sickening thud echoed from the far end of the mess hall.
The crowd was gathered so tightly that Arav and Aisha could only hear it at first—
SMACK! SMACK!!
Arav pushed through the wall of bodies, keeping Aisha close. His heartbeat quickened.
Then he saw it.
His breath froze in his chest.
It was Kabeer.
Kabeer was straddling a kid in a brown uniform, driving his fists down with a fury that didn't look human anymore. Blood splattered with every strike. The kid's face was already swollen beyond recognition.
Behind him, Minnie sobbed, clutching Kabeer's arm with trembling hands.
"K-Kabeer… please… stop…"
But Kabeer didn't hear her.
"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER!"
His voice cracked as he slammed another punch—his knuckles splitting open, blood running down his wrist.
Aisha flinched beside Arav.
Arav tightened his grip on her hand.
"Kabeer! ENOUGH!" he shouted.
Kabeer froze.
His fist stopped mid-air.
Slowly… painfully slowly… he turned his head toward Arav.
His eyes were drenched in blood and madness.
There was no reason left in them.
Only rage—pure, murderous rage.
A chill surged through Arav's entire spine.
Kabeer delivered one final blow to the unconscious boy… then stood up… and started walking toward Arav.
Before he could reach him, a soldier rushed through the crowd.
"What happened here?!" he yelled, stunned by the blood on the floor. "W–Who did this!?"
No one answered. Everyone stood frozen in fear.
Then Kabeer stepped forward.
"I am responsible," he said calmly.
Even his voice scared the guard.
The soldier grabbed Kabeer's arm quickly.
"You're coming with me. You have to report this to the officials."
As Kabeer was dragged away, Arav stood frozen. His legs trembled.
Aisha stared at him. "Arav… who is that?"
"He… he was my younger brother," Arav whispered.
His mind drowned in confusion.
How did he get here? Who brought him? Why now?
"Did you guys see that brat?" Emilia said suddenly. "He was so cool! He was probably protecting that girl. And he has silver hair like you."
Aisha sighed. "He's his brother, Emilia. Please."
"WHAT? That cool brat? Your brother?" Emilia blinked. "Are you sure, Male Rapunzel?"
But Arav heard nothing.
His thoughts spiraled deeper and deeper.
He's here…
I'm not safe…
He'll kill me…
Someone help me…
I don't want to die yet…
Aisha snapped her fingers in front of him twice.
"Arav? Hey. Wake up."
"Huh—what? Where was I?" Arav muttered.
"Just sit. You're both in shock," Emilia said, settling into a chair with her plate of veggies and bread.
They ate together, but Arav barely tasted anything.
His mind was flooded with fear—and memories he wished he'd forgotten.
That night, Arav jolted awake in his bed, screaming:
"Save me!!"
Flinch grabbed his hand immediately and turned on the lights.
"Arav! What happened?! Why are you screaming like that?"
"They're coming… they're going to kill me… Kabeer wants me dead… I don't want to die…" Arav sobbed uncontrollably.
Flinch hugged him tight.
"Hey… it's okay. I'm right here. You're safe now. It was only a nightmare."
But Arav didn't sleep the rest of the night.
He just sat there, shaking.
And slowly… that old trauma he had buried returned like a shadow behind him.The day she died and the day this all started that changed his life everything started to appear in front of his eyes
His eyes were full of fear and worries about himself. Kabeer believes Arav was responsible for Elda's death but he was unaware of what he suffered, what he saw. It was death he actually faced death that night in shape of Beast.
It was the fate and destiny that protected him but that was not for Ekda she died that night saving Arav and that guilt is just eating Arav from inside.
Meanwhile, Kabeer was in front of Triamath officials and they were scolding him but there was a person in his support because of him, he was safe till now.
What was kabeer doing in Triamath? Who bought kabeer here? What will be his next move to take his revenge from Arav, the muderer of his sister?
