Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Magic Stone

"I'm Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. You're a new student too, aren't you?"

Hagrid extended his brawny hand, his voice booming with enthusiasm.

"Yes." Moen nodded, his tone calm, his gaze falling on the boy beside Hagrid.

"Hello, I'm Harry, Harry Potter." The scrawny boy smiled in a friendly manner, his voice a little reserved, but his green eyes held a natural warmth.

"Moen White." Moen also smiled faintly, extending his hand to lightly shake Harry's, his movements graceful and unhurried.

Harry carefully observed Moen's silver-white eyes and couldn't help but exclaim, "Your eyes are so beautiful! And… do you also live in the Muggle world?" His voice was full of curiosity and a hint of excitement.

"Yes." Moen nodded, his calm tone carrying a touch of frankness. "I only recently found out I'm a Wizard."

"That's amazing!" Harry's voice suddenly became excited, an irrepressible smile spreading across his face.

His voice was eager, his eyes bright as he said, "I thought I was the only one from the Muggle world! Now we can explore the Wizarding World together!"

Moen smiled faintly, his tone composed, "Then we should discover quite a few interesting things."

He could feel Harry's curiosity about the Wizarding World and his anticipation of a new friend, but he neither deliberately sought closeness nor showed aloofness, his words and expressions perfectly balanced.

"We'd better hurry to Diagon Alley to get some school supplies." Hagrid's voice rang out again, full of enthusiasm and urgency. "Time's short, keep up!"

Passing through a brick wall in the Leaky Cauldron's backyard, Hagrid waved his umbrella, tapping several bricks forcefully, muttering, "Three up, two across… that's it."

With the final tap, the brick wall began to move slowly, the bricks sliding apart automatically as if alive.

A few seconds later, a wide and bustling street appeared before them.

Moen stood at the entrance, his gaze slightly narrowed, and he murmured in a low voice, "Is this the Wizarding World?"

The sights on both sides of the street were even more bustling than he had imagined:

Shop signs shimmered with strange lights in the sun, some even moving and making "ding-dong" sounds;

Wizards in various robes hurried past, carrying magical items, while several children gathered in front of a shop window, excitedly pointing at a hovering flying broomstick;

The air was filled with faint scents of spices and gunpowder, mixed with the low hooting of owls.

"Welcome Harry, and Moen, welcome to Diagon Alley." Hagrid smiled, looking down at the two, his voice full of warmth and pride.

"This is incredible!" Harry's voice was filled with wonder, his eyes reluctantly moving from one shop window to another. "I've never seen a place like this."

The system's mechanical voice rang in Moen's mind, cold and emotionless:

"Main quest complete: Successfully entered Diagon Alley. Reward: White Replication Talent × 1."

A translucent virtual interface appeared before Moen's eyes:

Moen glanced at the system panel, a slight smile curving his lips, and he murmured, "Scan for magical items within range."

The system replied coldly, "Scan range: 10 meters. Detecting targets…"

Soon, the virtual interface updated, displaying the characteristics of nearby magical items:

Moen scanned the interface and murmured, "Although these characteristics are good, now is not the time to prioritize them."

The Gringotts Trip

"Hagrid, these things look great, but… I don't have any money." Harry's voice was a little low, and he cautiously looked at the shop windows.

"Don't worry, Harry." Hagrid laughed heartily, his voice full of reassurance. "Your parents left you a huge fortune! All that money is in Gringotts."

After speaking, he turned to Moen, a hint of concern in his voice: "We also need to take you to apply for a student loan. Don't worry, Hogwarts students have good benefits."

The three walked through the bustling street and arrived at Gringotts at the end of Diagon Alley.

The pristine white building stood majestically, its spired towers piercing the sky, and its exquisitely carved exterior walls reflected a soft glow in the sunlight.

"Gringotts, the safest place in the Wizarding World!" Hagrid introduced proudly, with a hint of exaggeration in his tone.

Upon entering the main hall, the polished marble floor reflected the light from the crystal chandeliers, and the low murmurs of busy Goblins echoed all around.

Behind the counters, Goblins were busy counting Galleons, occasionally looking up to scan the Wizards in the hall with vigilance.

"Harry, we'll go to your vault first to get some money." Hagrid said, his voice reassuring Harry.

He then turned to Moen: "You apply for your student loan here. If you have any questions, ask the Goblin at the counter."

Moen stood at the counter and quickly completed the loan procedures.

He tentatively asked, "What are the procedures for exchanging gold for Galleons?"

The indifferent Goblin behind the counter looked up and replied, "It can be exchanged, but a handling fee will be charged."

"Understood." Moen nodded, feeling a slight sense of relief.

After about half an hour, Hagrid and Harry returned from the underground vault.

Harry was carrying a small bag, his eyes full of excitement: "I've never seen so much money!"

"Harry's vault is quite rich!" Hagrid said with a laugh, a hint of pride in his voice.

Just then, the system coldly prompted: "Target detected entering range: Philosopher's Stone."

[[Target Name]: Philosopher's Stone

[Talent Characteristics]:

1. Alchemy: Transforms ordinary metals into pure gold.

2. Immortality: Slows aging and maintains life state.

3. magic Amplification: Significantly enhances spell power.]

Moen decisively gave the command: "Replicate the 'Alchemy' characteristic of the Philosopher's Stone."

A warm power surged into his body, and a faint smile touched his lips: "Now, the money problem is solved."
