Chapter 928 - The Enemy Who Saw the Beginning

Beyond the borders of countless realities…

Beyond the endless universes created by the Architect…

Something awakened.

A being that had consumed civilizations.

A being that had surpassed countless dimensions.

A being that believed there was nothing above it.

Its name was forgotten by history.

Because every place it visited eventually disappeared.

It had crossed endless worlds.

It had destroyed gods.

It had overcome cosmic laws.

It had erased entire systems of power.

And now…

It searched for the greatest existence.

The one called:

Kael Veyris.

The being arrived near the Veyris Eternal Empire.

It looked at the endless civilizations protected by Kael.

Humans.

Dragons.

Elves.

Demons.

Angels.

Gods.

Countless races living peacefully.

The being laughed.

"So this is the empire of the so-called Architect?"

"It ends here."

The moment it stepped forward…

The universe became silent.

Not because Kael attacked.

Not because reality was damaged.

But because something else was noticed.

A presence.

The being froze.

Its instincts screamed.

"What… is this?"

It looked toward the Imperial Castle.

There stood Kael Veyris.

Calm.

Silent.

Holding a cup of tea.

Not releasing power.

Not preparing a weapon.

Simply existing.

The being stared.

Then it finally understood.

The aura surrounding Kael was not energy.

It was not magic.

It was not a system.

It was not a law.

It was not a concept.

Those things existed because of him.

The being's expression changed.

"No…"

"This cannot be…"

A small amount of Kael's presence reached outward.

Not an attack.

Not an ability.

Simply the existence of the Primordial Nothingness beneath his chosen identity.

The being saw a vision.

It saw endless layers of creation.

It saw universes.

Dimensions.

Frameworks.

Narratives.

Systems.

Concepts.

All created after the original silence.

Then it saw something beyond.

The Outerverse.

A place beyond ordinary space.

Beyond time dimensions.

Beyond physical laws.

Beyond matter.

Beyond cosmic rules.

A realm where normal measurements had no meaning.

The being realized something terrifying.

Kael's true aura could affect even that.

Not because the Outerverse was weak.

But because Kael's origin existed before the ideas that defined everything.

The being stepped backward.

One step.

Then another.

Its confidence disappeared.

"I came here to fight…"

Its voice trembled.

"But I was standing before the source of what fighting even means."

Kael looked at the being.

"Are you leaving?"

The being did not answer.

Because before time could even progress…

Before a second could pass…

Before the concept of movement could fully occur…

It escaped.

It ran.

Not because Kael chased it.

Not because Kael threatened it.

But because it understood.

Remaining there was meaningless.

Inside the Imperial Castle…

Ignisia looked toward Kael.

"It fled?"

Kael nodded.

"Yes."

Lilith crossed her arms.

"You didn't even do anything."

"I know."

Nyx looked curious.

"Then why did it run?"

Kael looked toward the endless realities.

"Because it saw something it was not prepared to understand."

The Universe Tree whispered.

"The strongest force was never destruction."

"It was the existence that came before destruction was defined."

Veyloria stood nearby.

"Father…"

"Yes?"

"Was it afraid of you?"

Kael was silent for a moment.

Then answered:

"No."

"It was afraid of what I represent."

Far away…

The being continued fleeing.

Not through space.

Not through time.

Because those things could not describe its escape.

It simply moved away from the presence of the Primordial Nothingness.

And for the first time…

A being that had challenged countless realities learned a lesson:

Some powers cannot be defeated.

Some beings cannot be measured.

And some truths…

Are terrifying simply because they exist.
