Adi:"Wait what!?.. You died"
Varun:"..."
He just stood up and left far enough that i and sudhanshu can't hear him.
Adi:"what's going on with him? ... Do you think he's just messing with us, since we all time traveled for some unknown reason?"
Sudhanshu:"... Maybe... But he might be saying truth... I've never seen him so serious like this before.. He's always been talkative ams laughing type of person, laughing everytime something happens or even when he gets insulted.. But this time... He's completely serious... It's like he has some emotional turmoil going on him... But who knows what's going on through his head?... Maybe he's just exaggerating.. Or maybe he did die actually."
"I believe him either way, I know him, he might be talking childish and looks immature... But his mind... That's something which can plan even the fall of a government single handedly.... He knows what to do."
Adi:"... Woah.... I didn't get a word you said."
Sudhanshu:"idiot as always.. Haha.... Just fu–k around like always... You can't do anything in your life."
Suddenly we heard the sky trembling Thunder, before it turned completely gray... Varun was looking around like he can see something... And maybe I can too, there were laser like dots on few people's head, but what I didn't expect was for him to lunge and push sudhanshu aside, and the lightning suddenly fell on Varun like a explosion, the impact sent both me and sudhanshu flying back to few meters, and as we were just getting our composure, the lightning from each inch of the sky came down and fell on Varun. All the students and teacher ran as far as possible, screaming in fear and shock.
I could just see, until sudhanshu lunges towards Varun, I also ran to stop him from getting too close, since it might be dangerous for him too. But as we were just about to close in and red colored laser like lightning hit sudhanshu and sent him flying away.. I was caught between two friends in death situation.. One laid unconscious on the grass part of the field and one was getting continuous lightning from the sky,... I chose to reach sudhanshu since he got just one strike by lightning.. But before I could.. Something hit me,.. My eyes went blank before I could react... All I heard was a "howl".. Like a wolf was near me.
It was the very next day of when that lightning strike happened, I was disoriented and my bones felt like they were breaking and stretching, when I woke up up, I was a lot taller than before. A lot muscular, like a completely new person.
"What happe–.. Ugh?!... My voice?"
My voice has gotten way deeper and hoarse. I can't tell what's happening but I feel like my strength has been increased immensely.
I went to washroom to see myself in the mirror, and what shocked me was my facial features... My jaw was perfectly aligned. My eyes color was like yellow with a slight hit of green.. It was like those of werewolves from the movies and fiction.
As I was thinking, I geld on my toothbrush to brush my teeth.. But little did I know, the brush snapped from its groove and fell down the washbasin.
"What the hell?"
When I opened my mouth, I saw my four canines were way sharper than before, my teeths were set completely straight and white.
"Damn... I look.... Good suddenly?"
I was not sure what was going on, so I went out eat, my dad and grandma didn't seem to notice the changes in me, I was surprised as to how didn't they notice something so drastic.. When I grabbed a plate to served myself, the steel plate bent into the grip even though I didn't press too hard... Like it was not metal but clay.
"What the... Fuu–k"
I quickly disposed the plate and took a new one as gently as I could and started to eat...
Few minutes later I went out to meet some friends, and none of them seem to find me any different.
"What the fu–k is happening right now?"
I went along normally like always.. But every time I grabbed something, it would either break of deshape from the strength I didn't know how I got.
But one thing was the most absurd... The feeling to "howl" .. Every time I looked at the moon or the urge to eat raw meat.. Even though I am a vegetarian and never even smell meat... As a jain, it was a absurd hurt to my religion, but I can't get the urge out my stomach.
I wanted to eat raw meat.. Not just any raw meat... But the very meat out of a living being.
His irises turned reddish as he bit on his finger, hard that it started to bleed.
"Fu–... Dammit."
As I got my hand away from my mouth.. I went to find bandage.. But before I could find any.. My finger was... Fine?....
It felt like I didn't just bite my finger at all.
"Now this is getting too complex... But it's actually kinda cool... I can't get hurt!"
I went to kitchen and took the knife.. The biggest one and cuts on my forearm... It cuts and heals simultaneously...
"What if I stab myself?"
Out of curiousity, I lined the knife with my gut, lifting it up to get ready to stab, I closed my eyes and was trembling a bit.
"I might get healed, but what about the pain?... Uh.. But I didn't feel the pain I cut on my arm... But this could hurt, I am literally going to stab myself."
".. Gulp~"
My throat was dry and I was sweating profusely from fear.. But then, with a deep breath I stabbed the knife on my gut, expecting to endure the pain, but...
I felt nothing, not pain.. Not even the warmth of blood.
I looked do to see the hole I made with the knife. .. But what I didn't expect was there to be "nothing".
Not a single scratch... I was.. Fine.. And the blade of the knife... It was bent like spring.. Not at all usable anymore.
"... I am hard as hell"
I quickly changed my shirt since it got torn slightly by the knife and went out again to test my new abilities. I was getting bursts of dopamine because of how excited I was after knowing that I have superhuman like body now..
"I don't know what happened but this is awesome."
I tested my strength by hitting to gym and lifting the heaviest weight with one hand and still didn't got too much strain, everyone there were shocked by my strength, and the girls were all attracted to me, not caring that their boyfriends were there too.
The next day I went to school. I thought that only I am the one who had this kind of change... But what surprised me was, when I heard the name "sudhanshu", I turned to look at where it came from.. And it was right behind me in the hallway, he was also taller than before but I still towered him by few inches. He looked way to cool for anyone to ignore. I was surprised because just yesterday he was just a good looking scrawny.. And now... He's too good to be said in words.
The white hoodie framing his torso, the sleeves raised up on his fore arms , acquainting his muscular arm, which was surely not there yesterday.
And just like me.. No one seem to find him any different either. Like he's always been like this.
He was getting a lot more attention than me... A lot is still low... He was getting too much attention, ... For some reason it made me jealous today.... I didn't got attention the way I started with my new changes now... And.. He just came and took them away again like nothing... It made me envy him.
Adi's irises turned slightly red as he clenched his fist and walked away.
Few days later, as I and sudhanshu were getting the attention from all the students. A fellow in denim jacket and black jeans entered the class.. He also had a mask on his face like sudhanshu, and everyone found him different...everyone thought he's a new kid until he reached sudhanshu and asked his name....
Sudhanshu responded with a yes and asked him back for his name... For which he responded with
"Varun" As his name. Everyone was shocked... I was thinking that he's also like us two and won't have any reaction out of others.. But no... He had made everyone react. Everyone remembers how he looked.
I was in more envy, because he also just came and got the same amount of reaction as sudhanshu.. I couldn't keep myself cool by how they were getting more attention than me.
The very day's evening I was walking through a alley to reach the mobile showroom, that my dad owns.
As I was reaching the end of the alleyway. A few college students were smoking there..
I just walked through and was about to leave... When suddenly one of them held my shoulder.
